Yeah and people complained those regen faces were terrible when they were first introduced years ago.
Obiously the generator thing is fairly buggy and I'm sure it isn't a priority to fix but it'll improve eventually and people will like the new style of faces which are graphically superior.
If you look at a specifically designed regen face (pic related) rather than a randomly generated one then its decent enough. They probably scaled back on the graphics a bit before release because it was so buggy so full detailed regen faces like these would look far worse when randomly generated.

Because being anything other than the main manager of a national team is a terrible way to try and build a career. Even if you are at one of the best countries in the world chances are you will have almost nothing you can point to as an achievement when you leave the job, you will only see players very briefly a few times a year so they won't have any particular opinions or affinity for you, you will do a lot of work but almost nobody will know who the fuck you are.
Club level ass men are generally more highly regarded and well known than national team ass men. Only if they think they are gonna have a legitimate shot at taking over the main job when it becomes available do people tend to take on the job of assistant manager at a national team since then it is considered a stepping stone to something bigger.

Really though, this is the closest the Leafs have been to the right track in that decade time frame (12/13 not withstanding; any longer and they would have likely missed the playoffs). There's a good pool of prospects with both the Marlies and in junior/Europe, a front office who seem to know how to build a team, and a coaching staff that is actually capable of implementing a proper system. Hard not to be excited, honestly.. especially given how they've played this season despite being second last in the league. Matthews or Chychrun into the system would be fantastic.
