No. In fact, let's just keep it the way it is. If it isn't broken, then don't fix it. There's no need to replace the pitcher's batting spot in the NL with the designated hitter (DH). Look at Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta and Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner. Both hit HRs.
