Does LA actually give a shit about getting an NFL team, let alone two again? For instance, Baltimore was chomping at the bit for a team and was more than happy to receive stolen goods despite that happening to them, they were desperate for NFL football again. Is there any sentiment like that, anything at all, in Los Angeles or do the people just generally not give a fuck?

Yes. LA is extremely excited for a football team. There is an entire generation of young adults like myself that grew up with no home football team and we are ready to pick up a team and run with it. Despite what the media and flyover state losers say, LA has a pretty loyal sport following. The Lakers still have good turnout despite being one of the worst team in the league, and the dodgers always had good attendance despite being god awful for 10+ years. This whole image of LA as this movie town full of fake people is bullshit. The majority of people that live here are real normal people just like anywhere else.

Boxing is only slow when the fighters are ducking good match-ups and being ultra conservative/defensive so they don't lose their records. That wasn't really as much of a problem 20+ years ago, though. There are an incredible amount of classic boxing matches from back in the day that are worth watching the whole way through. And when both sides are going for knockouts, nothing comes close to the entertainment of boxing.
