How do we know Vardy isn't just a one-season wonder? Last season he made 34 apps in all competitions but scored just 5 goals. He hasn't proved himself as a consistent goalscorer.
At least Kane has proved himself a bit more. His form is picking up again this season, and also he's young enough that he can really grow and mature into a fantastic player.
