Local stores over franchises. Even if it's a new franchise store opening up.
Local stores are usually always looking for people. They're usually pretty small so there's not a ton of workmates you need to interact with, you especially wanna hit one up where the owner has to work at the counter. This is because it means they're needing people if they're having to do the day to day stuff. They'd probably much rather be doing the management stuff in back then having to do the bare bones work, so they'd be looking for help.
Franchises are nopes as they're usually full of people and with cunt people in the higher position, expect an asshole manager who thinks they're better than you.
New franchise stores are a nope as it means they're looking for some pretty higher up positions, so it means they'll be looking for the best. You don't wanna hit up places looking for the best or the most skilled or most qualified, you wanna hit up places looking for anyone. Brand new local stores are good for that.
I'd also recommend admin positions, especially at small companies. Big corporations can be difficult to get into and extra busy. You want a place that's gonna have a small office area. I'm currently in an job like that. It's a heritage museum so it's not IT focused, it means our office only has 3 people. They're the only people I interact with during my job, sometimes the higher ups but that's official business. Best NEET job is an office job in some small company.

I volunteered in an admin position somewhere else first. I just got over the hump and huffing around of the fact volunteering isn't paid and I just did it. Meant I got some experience and it ended up on my CV. It was enough to secure a paying position somewhere else.
My mind set was over the fact that volunteering doesn't pay is. Okay, I can either do this volunteering, even for like a month or two and not get paid, but have extra stuff to put on my CV and can say I have experience in that field, or I can not do it, not get paid anyways, and just look for jobs at home.
