Right now all the threads on /v/ seem to be receiving new posts just fine, including the sticky, but the index and catalog have been frozen for the last 44 minutes.
It looks like
5:02 - 5:27: everything broken
5:27 - ongoing: site working except /v/ index and catalog not updating
Which suggests that perhaps the rewrite of the catalog and index each time the /v/ sticky was updated was putting too much stress on the server, and a dev turned it off.

Hisoka got killed but came back to life due to residual nen. The Troupe is going to the Dark Continent. Hisoka decided he wanted to kill the whole Troupe and so he's already killed Shalnark and Kortopi. So now on top of all the other stuff happening in Dark Continent, we've got Hisoka and the spiders. Gonna be a hell of an arc. Easily another Chimera Ant, but this time all these characters will actually be a part of it. I'm hype. But there is a LOT of salt on /a/. You can only truly appreciate it if you're up on the series but the place is a damn warzone right now. It's great, in a way. I'm not surprised people are mad because they're too used to all the tropes in everything else and project them on this series, but it all makes logical sense. Residual nen is something that has been stressed for YEARS. It's a key part of the series.
