When it comes to how we like to live in the moment, it sounds silly, but I often think about fruit trees. Right now, picture your yard, or imagine the house you would like to have one day, with a beautiful back yard. Wouldn't it be great if you had a bunch of delicious fruit trees? Apples, oranges, whatever you can think of. I believe at least 75% of people would agree that it would be nice to have fresh fruit growing on their property.
But in actuality, the amount of people with fresh fruit growing on their property is probably 1-5%. It isn't the effort it takes to grow the tree, it's the fact that it may take 10-20 years before the trees begin to bear fruit. People don't really care about anything but the "right now".
Now let's take a look at Muslims and the religion of Islam. In prison, Muslims who have a life sentence work fanatically to convert other prisoners to their religion that will eventually be released back into the world. The endgame of Islam is a world compromised entirely of Muslims. People practice this faith know that it will not happen during their lifetime, but to them that is OK. They still work feverishly towards a goal that will never be met in their lifetimes.

My theory is that the problem isn't that the elite want to reduce bird rates, in fact I believe they want to increase birth rates - but they want to reduce the wealth of individual families because money is power and money leads to influence.
That's why they import immigrants from poorer areas and let them ravage the natives, because the natives then have to waste their own accumulated resources to deal with/support/protect themselves from the immigrants.
The whole "everyone is going to be replaced by robots" thing may be true, but that won't be for a very long, long time. For now, IMO, the elite just want everyone a little too fat, a little too dumb, and a little too poor to resist their influences.
