I'm gonna cut this short, because the true reason for me creating this thread is more important than the actual events that has haunted my mind for the past 30 or so hours.
My girlfriend and I live in Copenhagen, and every Easter we go to her parents in Rodovre, together with friends and family on both sides, to enjoy a feast, and celebrate. Saturday night we said goodbye, and headed home. As we're walking through an empty park, we see a group of 4 men, and yes they were not Danes, coming towards us on the same road.
Naturally, we move to the side to pass them, however, so do they. They spread and walk directly towards us. We stop up, and they surround us is seconds. They shout a mix of broken English and Arabic at me, and before I can even try to talk my way out, they're pushing me and my girlfriend apart. All I can see, is two men in front of me as I hear my girlfriend screams getting muffled. I try to use the pepper spray that I'm carrying illegally, but one of them punch me down before I can use it. This whole fucking thing went so fast, but it felt like I was listening to my girlfriend's muffled cries for minutes as they kept kicking me whenever I tried to get up. The next thing I know, they bail.
By PURE fucking luck, a guy driving by heard my girlfriend's scream, and stopped to find her. My girlfriend is crying on the ground, with her pants pulled half-way down, and the guy helps me on my feet again. We have not reported this to the police, in fears that they might find out I attempted to use a pepper spray for fucking self-defense.
