Goods and people must be able to move (not necessarily freely) between all holdings.
TL;DR: How would you design a robust and effective governmental administration able to cope with communications and transportation delays on the scale of, or many orders of magnitude above, that of the colonial era.

It might work okay until someone disagrees with you enough (over say, taxation) to shut down the comms net on their end. It'll take years for your taxation fleet to get there, and by then they likely would have enough defenses to sweep it unless it's a a yuuuuge fleet. All for fucking space taxes.

Why is it so enforced that women should always have long hair, wear makeup and shave their body hair?
Long hair takes a lot to maintain, and any girl that is too fussy about keeping their hair nice is extremely annoying.
Cosmetic supplies take a ridiculous amount of money for something you use every single day, and women can be stupidly fussy about their makeup getting messed up too. A lot of women look perfectly fine without makeup and some even look better without it.
Women shaving is also a huge waste of money, it's hair, get over it, the entire shaving industry mostly focuses on women because they know they can be scammed into buying useless shit, shaving products aimed at women actually cost more than male products because women are stupid enough to think they need the pink razors. This might sound like some kind of feminist thing but, but look at it really, long hair is superficial, gets in the way and takes far to long to maintain compared to short hair, it's vain and impractical, the same can be said about makeup, and all it does is allow the unattractive women to trick people into thinking they are desirable by making them appear better than they really are.
Now about shaving is a more debatable thing, but still looking at it from a practicality standpoint it's a money sink, though I understand some people don't like but still you really should get over it, what do you think people did before razors were invented.
From this point of view it just seems like the whole female beauty industry is just a big racket to make women vain assholes and for corporations to milk money (most likely their male partner's money) off of their gullible asses.
