I have a whole bunch of .PDO files I would like to make. But they aren't in the format I need and are passworded and locked and so old or uncredited that I cant track down the creators. So does anyone know how to unlock passworded .PDO files?

use "Pepakura Viewer"

Refer to this thread >>529802

Hurry, because it just died, it should stay on the archive for a few more days, but after that I don't know since moe's archive died.

Also, please ignore the troll.

Cheers. I wrote down all the info I need from that thread. Hopefully something will work. Would be a shame if these files are unusable.

Idk how to go from steps 3-4

Swing the left part behind to the right, using the existing crease as a mountain fold. You're just book folding it. Closing it up.

Does anybody here have a pepakura design of Deadpools Katanas.

Lol<

But katanas are shit! They were traditionally made from fucking pig-iron, which was why the metal had to be folded, they lost an edge almost immediately, were absolute crap at punching through anything other than the shitty bamboo armor the Japanese soldiers wore, and literally fell to pieces unless they were carefully cleaned and powdered after every use and sung to in perfect Japanese by the light of the full moon. I refuse to make a shit sword fit only for culturally illiterate ninja wannabes

...bra? these ones would be PAPER, i don't think it matters. also the folding thing works for us.

I have just been to Yobee's website (paperlego.blogspot.com) and see that he has discontinued letting people download his templates for Lego Figures for a fee or free. He has just stopped all downloads. I desperately want to make the little StormTrooper for my grandson. Was anyone fortunate enough to download the StormTrooper before they stopped it and would be willing to share? I don't know what the price was, but I could pay or do an exchange of another model. Thank you so much for any help. This figure will make one little boy very happy!

What programs are used for paper craft? I know of Pepakura but any more? How are they different?

What do you mean by programs "for paper craft"?
If you're looking for an alternative to pepakura, you're going to be hard pressed to find something as functional.

Hello /po
I'm moving to a new apartment in a few weeks. I wanted to make the place a little more lively by decorating it with papercraft.
Do you have any models that could serve that purpose? Stuff like animal heads, lamp shades, thing to hang from the ceiling, etc.

heyo, what about the usage of origami on different projects, like sculpting, jewellery etc.? im planning to plate origamis with metal and curious about the copyrights. Can i use only traditional models?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
You should be fine with traditional models, but models such as the Kawasaki Rose are copyrighted.
>>
I know a person who makes ceramic origami by folding sheets of clay.

Traditional models are perfectly fine to use. If you want to make, and sell, contemporary stuff you are going to need the designers permision. If you just want to make it for yourself then go ahead, no one will care.

thank you that made things clear. what about getting permission from artists, have anybody here do that? you just ask them about permission and its ok?

For any of you who didn't get this year's Origami Christmas Book, you're slacking.

On the bright side I have four diagrams from that book that I will be releasing for free on my google drive this February (have to wait that long out of respect for the people who "purchase" it)

The models I'll be releasing are in the picture, I'll post the link when they are up.

Dear /po/, awhile back I saw a newspaper hat that looked like this. The site was however in Russian and I have since lost track of it. I was wondering if any of you know how to fold/ or create it.

Close but more round. Like this one but a rounded front.
>>
>>535732
One extra fold would give that brim a semi rounded front.

I made several of those hats and glued on big black eyes. They look like birds, pretty cute...
