42 KB,
I got this years ago from my mom, she found it who knows where.. It's been sitting in my closet and I've got no plans to do anything with it. I know it's floating around as a free pdf too, but do you guys think anyone would buy it if i put it on ebay?
If so, how should I price it?
I'm a lazy fuck so i just nabbed a pic off google.

This will sell. I've built the original and seen the pdfs. The pieces are perforated for easy removal, with good, aligned double sided printing on the parts. It's much more labor to properly print and build this at home.

Usually one page or two max, which makes them fast and easy. Nice instructions too.

I love canon's creative park collection, it's so well made.

You guys seem to be on top of your shit, do you have any tips for working with glue and glitter, vis as vis producing an elegant finished effect?

I ask because I just tried to make what I thought was going to be a five minute joke Christmas card, and roughly three hours later I look like I narrowly escaped the gayest battalion of the Festival Planet's invasion force.

Asking for how to work with glue and glitter is just a nobrainer - even preschoolers know how to work that shit: First you apply glue to the areas you want to spark, sprinkle over the glitter and either shake off the excess, blow it off, inhale it, or do whatever you like to remove it. Also, get the fcuk back to >>>/diy/ .
>>
>>534985
Agree.
>>
Just in case you weren't trolling, use foil for a finished, elegant effect. Colored foils with texture can be applied with gorilla glue, use it sparingly, and conceal the edges, it can look quite sharp.

If your heart is set on using glitter, then stick to your age range in /pol.

There is no free way, the creator or designer does not share them, only distributes free models in image format or pdf.

To make this type of models must have a little experience.

I will start a workshop the next wednesday.
I am 36.

Now I must to convince my little daughter that it will fun, damn.
>>
You'll be fine. There's only a lot of kids there, because they want to get more young people interested.

I went to an origami workshop when I was 10 (had been doing origami for 3 years before that) and it was nothing but adults. I was in these classes with adults and I thought it would be intimidating but the guy I was sitting next to was an art teacher from the NY school of arts and he had to ask me to help him with folds.

What I'm saying is, take it as both a learning experience and a the gateway to teaching other people.

hola hello

One of my boyfriend's hobby is making origamis all day all night. He is moving to a new apartment soon. I would want to offer him a special shelf where he can exhibit his numerous paper creations.

Problem is.. i don't find any real model existing.. I'm ready to build it myself but i need some help. If you have any plans, photos, ideas.. I will be thankful !

I wouldnt make a shelf out of paper....

you should check /diy/
>>
>>535694
no no the shelf can be wood or anything else but I heard that special shelfs exist, composed by several little boxes where you can exhibit your creations, I just don't find anything concrete on internet..
>>
I make origami and i can say when you put them in a room they acumulate dust and at the end the model end in the garbage.

Also Visit /DIY/

The furniture should be closed to avoid dust

Looking for some ideas. I'm trying to build a papercraft of Eraqus' Keyblade for a cosplay and was planning to reinforce with pvc pipes, but I'm a bit lost on this part cuz there's no easy way to reinforce this weak point. Ideas?

I refer to the octagon shape in the middle. I can stick a pipe through it and a pipe from the top for the actual sword (key?) part, but I can't really connect them

Is it cool or what?
No glue, no nothing, just puire assembly of hq printed sheets.
There are buildings, ships, tanks and whatnot.
And they cost around $5-10 at most, possibly less. Famous ones, like Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge, etc
Man, now I can skip plastic models altogether and not bother with dirting my hands with glue, and cutting myself trying to scrape off those plastic molding overflows.

Finally something enjoyable, no hassle, requires some pleasant but non-stressful brain and hand work, and beautiful and tasteful toy and decoration, all for less than $10. Lego looks like pixelated crap next to this.

Can someone recommend origami designs I can use with 10cm by 10cm squares of colored paper?

Sometimes I try designs I find here but they can end up a bit too small (so the folds get kinda hard at the end).
