I'm looking for a multi tool that revolves around cleaning fish.

A flexible filet knife, catfish skinners instead of pliers, a scale remover, etc

Does anything like this exist?

If it doesn't, why not?

they do exist, but not in the conventional leatherman style. there are multitools in the form of a fixed blade that have most of what youll need to process a fish, even though they are shunned because fisherman generally dont need something so foofy. its assumed if you have the space to store a fish, you have an equal amount of space for tools

What if I'm a hobo and I want to use my begging money for a tool that will do it all?

Got any links?

I've been searching and I found ONE folding filet knife.

Mostly just snakeheads and homeless people.

I'm trying to figure out a good way to catch and get rid of those damn sailfin catfish aka plecostomus. They don't eat any real bait.

I need to break out the pellet gun one day and get rid of these doves that nest in the trees in my backyard. When they have babies, I get shit tons of feathers in my pool.

I want to upgrade my water system and buy a new stainless steel water bottle at the moment i go with a 32 oz nalgene bottle and a glass 12nz bottle (for hot liquid such as te) but i want to switch to a stainless steel one and the 2 i'm focused are the nalgene and the klean kanteen but there are some differences the nalgene is made with 18/10 surgical steel and the klean is made with 18/8 food steel both are made in china and both are single wall but i have heard that the klean kanteen is more prone to leaking and brokes while the nalgene it should be more durable

So I was able to find these Fjallraven Men's Vidda Pro Trousers Long, Dark Grey online for $70 bucks today. (random website had one pair left in my size) I really liked the idea of dedicated innawoods pants. I could never justify getting them before because they were just so damn overpriced.

I'm an amerifat so i'm hoping that the estimated size is actually right.

Like many of you, I am an outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and many other things than are done under the open skies. What I find extremely hard to do is to find like-minded people to do these things with, mainly because solitude is one of the things that are so enjoyable about being outdoors.

While children are brought together by youth organizations of many sorts, adults – especially those under 40 – are having a hard time to find proper organizations to meet their demands. It may be enjoyable to walk the wilderness with older people,...

I agree with you Anon. I'm in my midtwenties and outside of coworkers or friends, it's hard to find people my age to go /out/ with. I wish there were adult boyscouts or something that would have more experienced members there to show others the ropes and woyld organize outings of various types.

I think what would work best is having local chapters, ex. It would be hard for someone on the east coast to get together with folks from the midwest or the west coast for /out/ activities.

Thought about one of these, for single cans of soup or for making my own small portion soups when I'm camping in the woods.

Wanting something durable that I can hang over the fire, and not worry about it warping. A slightly larger size would be ideal, but not a must. But I'd like to find something that's more bang for my buck. Any ideas?

I took my BMX bike out to Colorado a couple of times and took it down some double black diamond trails. I was passing up people on real mountain bikes, especially going through the twistt parts in the woods.

My hands hurt like hell by the end of the trails though. 110psi tires and no suspension isn't the greatest on rocky trails.
>>
>>684274
Yeah some people (while potentially being a very strong rider endurance-wise) have very little basic bike control skills. When i ride with my friends we all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Luckily it all usually evens out by the end of the ride even if there's alot of rubberbanding in between.

So im doing it.
Im going to walk across america. Ive done crazy hard work in my life. Ive fought forest fires. Ive been military. Ive dug holes for 16 hours per day no breaks not even lunch. Ive seen that hardest of the hard. All I can say is that I need nothing besides my own brain and honesty. I have worked some warehouse jobs lately, where the sad sorry pathetic fucks can have a superiority complex over their sad sorry warehouse job. A human will do anything to survive. Especially lie to themselves. So my goal is to live entirely honestly. If it kills me then so be it....

Do it mang.

You need some sponsors. You could totally get some free Gatorade for the trip. Not sure if that aligns with your views on honesty though.

You gonna journal or anything? Or at least post here so I can rip it off and turn it into a book and make millions for myself.

I was serious about the commercial sponsor thing though. Even if it is something small to help.

TLDR; food suggestions for over the fire - no dehydrated food

Hey guys. I don't usually need any advice because I'm a fully seasoned camper who is comfortable in the backwoods even with a small pack.

This time I've challenged myself to make it on a 45L pack. Normally this time of year I bring a toboggan I built out of high grade 5/16" thick plastic & have about 80L of gear what with extra warm clothes that I almost never dig into & a bunch of other gear that's nice to have but is pretty unnecessary. I'm going to ride my fat bike into our site (18km of bushwacking).

45L pack will have: sleeping pad, -20 down sleeping bag, seat pad for sitting on, 1 set of extra warm layer, 4 pairs of WARM socks, K-Bar, hatchet, headlamp, piss jug (old nalgene), newer nalgene for water, cards, tarp & rope for my shelter, 420 shit, 26er of good scotch, 2 packs of cigs, food, 1 pot, cutlery multi-tool, mini grill, home made fire starters, shit tickets, & probably a couple other small things I can't think of off the top of my head.

I'll have my shell layer on/in the bag on my bike for the trip in.

I'm going up North this coming weekend for my 17th winter camping trip. I don't need any suggestions on gear or whatever just looking for some input on foods to make.

Usually:
Day 1
Breakfast: at home/on the drive
Lunch: sandwich (something I can eat on the go)
Dinner: Steak & veggies

Day 2:
Breakfast: Eggs, bacon & toast
Lunch: kraft dinner or can of soup
Dinner: sausages on buns

Day 3:
Breakfast: oatmeal
Snacks (ie cliff bars, trail mix, etc)
Lunch/Dinner: truckstop diner an hour down the highway from where we park the car.

Food suggestions for backwoods? None of that expensive dehydrated bullshit. GTFO camping is supposed to be cheap.
