I think the stock pipe says "Racing" on it too though. 2bh even the stock exhaust on mine is louder than ideal, and I don't really feel the need for an aftermarket pipe.

Same same, I have a friend (nigger of course) that gutted his exhaust (bought bike with several hundred dollar m4 slip on, cuts open rips out everything so its a straight pip, JB welds exhaust tip back on). Every time we ride together he draws so much attention, we roll through the city and cops and everyone has to stop and look at wtf is rolling down the road.

I quit riding with em eventually. Fuckn guy draws too much attention.

Also, ever notice how obscenely loud exhausts just make drivers do unsafe shit, ex. tapping brakes to stop cruise control, look around frantically for what they think is Rossi doing 140 down a city block.

http://www.chinonthetank.com/2014/04/get-a-title-with-a-vermont-registration/

>When you buy your vehicle, make sure you get a bill of sale with the seller, and have it notarized. Here is an example bill-of-sale you can fill out and use. If the actual seller is weird and won’t fill it out with you, or go to the notary… just fill out the bill of sale as if a friend sold it to you, and go to the notary with a friend. A notary surely doesn’t care or know who the real seller is… or when you bought the vehicle.

So my dumbass friend bought a stolen bike off craigslist and cannot get a title. They asked me to help them by filling out the seller portion of the bill of sale, then going with them to the notary.

Is this just asking for trouble? Should I steer clear? We live in California.

Loud pipes save lives applies mostly to highway and blind intersections/alleys/sideroad. In those scenarios louder = people are more likely to be aware of you more earlier.

Well, it's not ACTUALLY confirmed whether the bike or not was stolen.

Here's how it went down

>3 parties
>my friend (A), the guy who sold my friend the bike (B), and the original owner (C)

1. C gives bike to B to sell
2. B sells bike to dumbass friend (A)
3. Dumbass friend can't register bike without title
4. C refuses to give B title or any documentation
5. B can't help my friend out

Would this count as a stolen bike or an old bike without a title? Is it still worth the risk to put my name down on a legal document?

they don't do anything if you have them low enough to not snap wrists, i just push my brake/clutch out if im going through shrubs, there is the point that if i hit a tree ill probably break my hand though... so is kinda a lose lose situation when it comes to those fuckers.

Oh thats an outstanding bike. Fuck the cbr600s they are super revvy and high strung. Fun I guess but commuting road trips and shit suck they just for quick sprints. And just respect the bike, read and watch videos to increase your rider knowledge and techniques.

I like my power ranger boots. Lots of plastic for max ankle protection, sucks to walk in for more then 15 minutes or so though.

I have more fun buying gear then bike parts kek

everyone has already said what I've said, but yeah, there is useful riding and there is "doodling" one educates you, one is just pottering around.

Deliberate, repeated practice is what you need to do.

This is why I think learning willies is a handy tool because it teaches you the value of repeated practice in motorcycling, you apply the same principles from willying to corners and low speed control etc. Analyse, repeat, improve.

25 hours is the ammount of time that a normal person would require to become a noob.

Here is what you should do.

Get these marks done on the ground. Its the average test that any Brazilian must take to pass and get a license.
0: Unpart and start.
1: Do the number 8 fully then exit ahead
2: its supposed to be those lines on the asphalt, you dont have to do it
3: Go around the cones.
4: Stop the bike
5: Change to second gear and go on top of the yellow line (that is supposed to be a ramp).
6: Stop your bike before the line, downshifting from 2nd gear to first.

They ride at very slow speeds so losing equilibrium is easy.

>Not upgraded header
I think the KLX300 header is the same size as the 250.

Good price though. You'll probably get annoyed with how loud the muffler is and want to go back to the stock one with the buttplug removed

the KLX300 header is a bit wider however the ends will still fit. I kinda figured I would get sick of the DG muffler so my plan for when that happens is to sand it down and re paint it flat black in engine enamel and re-sell it on ebay and with the slip on alone I can probably recoup the costs for the full system.

So i asked last night but everyone was busy discussing what litre peter a 6 year old should get for a first bike.

What rear tyre should i get this weekend?
Mine is just about bald and im open to suggestions if you have heard a certain tyre is better than the pp3/powerpure.

Wanting around a 8000km life span and comparable grip to the pp3

>>15087778
if the grip is enough, stick with the PP3. if you would like more grip and still have good wear, Q3. however if you wear through a PP3 in 5000 miles you'll wear through a Q3 in less.
>>
>>15087800
well that pp3 is at about 8000km in that picture, how much less would you say the q3 would last? maybe 5000km?
>>
>>15087819
if the center is wearing out first, i'd say 6k
>>
>>15086655
>Not taking the ultimate redpill: prostate

bruh
>>
>>15087833
Yeah im heavy on the rear brake into corners and no ABS so i tend to shred the centre of my tyres
>>
>>15087778
SVfag here, I only ever swap both tyres at once 2bh.

I would get S21R's, they'd be what I'd be putting on my bike this week if I didn't already have a set of tyres to go on my bike already sitting on top of my wardrobe, they'll be what I'm getting after the Q3s are worn out too.

I had the S20 evo /S20R combo, and they were great, the S21's are even better and last longer, they're triple compound tyres and they turn great too, super nice profile on them, my bike never turned as sharp after I got rid of the S20 Evo front.

>>15087856
then it sounds like a triple compound tyre that's super hard in the middle would be perfect for you.

depends entirely on the bike sport bikes need a fair bit of attention, big touring bikes tend to be about on par with cars

why would you do that? your rear wheel should have practically no weight on it until you get on the gas.

more often than cars but also easier to do (especially if the bike is unfaired). typically it's about 6,000 kms for oil, 24,000 kms for valves and such.

You will be crying tears of joy the first time you swap the brake pads on a motorcycle, you will not believe how quickly you are done with it.

>>15087902
not sure about that, all the new sport bikes have like 10-12,000 km service intervals on them now.

very very soft/fast rebound suspension settings.
>>
>>15087877
I will check them out, if they are cheaper than the pp3's may as well try them out.
>>15087909
To slow down faster?
I have my bike set up to keep as much weight off the front end as possible when braking, the front wheel will lock before the rear end lifts off the ground unless you are leaning over the tank.

thats a load of shit, and you're full of shit. no street or track bike could work in that manner. the rear brake offers basically nothing in fast riding. even if your rear end isnt leaving the ground, it still only has a couple pounds of ground pressure under hard front braking. mine rarely leaves the ground unless theres undulations in the track at the start of the braking zone, but i still slide and fishtail if i so much as brush the rear brake. especially when downshifting.

Sorry I forgot about this thread, got no pictures of her, but desu her steering is pretty fun, I can get pretty low and the far front tire saves my life more than you'd imagine, like hitting a drag radial wide pot hole by accident in the dark and all it did was jar me instead of making me crash.

I won't beat around the bush in the fact that the gas tank is fucking garbage, I literally fill up every 80-90 miles (if not less) because I drive like a cock sneeze most of the time, but even grannying I only get like 100 mpt.

Beyond that, stock pipes are trash, and that's my only real complaint besides the speed, it's quick but not sports bike quick so that's just me being a boyracer. I can still beat most cars on the road though, and also, if you have the money, personally I wish I went and took an extra 2 g's and got a larger bike like the victory 8ball series.

Over all I give her an 8/10 because it's just fun, small, peppy, still plenty loud, and badass looking. But bad gas, shitty Long distance.
