The Kremlin probably carried out the murder of Alexander Litvinenko on British soil according to an inquiry released today.
Russian lawmakers (including one of the suspects wanted for the murder, Andrei Lugovoi) called the charges "absurd" and a political provocation.
The inquiry was carried out by a British judge with the mandate of the Parliament, and included new evidence. Russia's ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Office and the two suspects (including the Duma member) are being demanded.

Iraqi Kurds are selling their German assault rifles they got last year, after they promised not to do so to get the MILAN.
Of course everybody saw this coming, but their media seems surprised how the """""democratic freedom fighters"""" can do this.

Most of us know, at least in the abstract, that Google and Facebook are tracking our every move online. Even Netflix collects detailed information on our binge-viewing habits, the better to make decisions about which films to drop from its catalog or what new TV series to invest in.
But what if I told you there are companies that can go much deeper than firms like Google and Facebook in their data-gathering prowess? Companies that not only know that you watch Netflix for two hours a day but also how long you spent reading this article before going back to Twitter and,...

>Lets face it, the Web today is a mess. Everywhere we go online we are constantly inundated with annoying ads. Often pages are more ads than content, and the more ads the industry throws at us, the more we ignore them, the more obnoxious ads get, trying to catch our attention. Nonsense. We'd end up with
-corporation websites (Sony, Microsoft) which don't need ad revenue
-amateur -- in the sense of personal passion -- websites run by people who have what are known as "jobs" to pay for them, also donations.
The plebians on IE6 can continue to generate ad-revenue for the corporate boogeymen as they always have. I will keep my ad-free internet and continue not to seed my torrents.

My family are muslims (Im ateist). I think this shit is sick. And don't even personally know anyone that would do this. As even though I don't proclaim for everyone I'm not an atheist I haven't been seen praying for over a decade. But obviously there are sick people in this world. Like serial killers, pedophiles, rapists, etc
And the more backwards and chaotic the country is the more likely it harbours this kind of sick people. (Why bombing these countries backwards has resulted in more terrorists...

>Instead of pushing everyone who call themselves Muslim to the side of extremists by showing hatred and ignorance
This is what the extremists want and I'm afraid to say in a lot of places, it's working. Fortunately it doesn't seem to be working any where near as well as around the time of the Iraq invasion but certainly Daesh are really pushing people to hate all Muslims so that some are driven to react. I think part of the solution is to show more regular Muslims in the...

But if we build power plants in CA then all the Mexicans, Jews, and hippies will die faster.
If these petitions approach it from a legitimate safety issue (i.e. "California is prone to earthquakes, which could crack the fission pile and spread radioactive contaminants.") and not a reactionary one (i.e. "Nuclear power = nuclear weapons" or "A meltdown will make the plant explode!"), then I'll agree with what they propose.
