back on /mu/ after a sizeable break haven't seen a turntable table board the past couple days. Post em
I would post mine but nobody wants to see some cheap-ass LP60
I wanna take my TT more seriously but haven't got a fucking clue what to upgrade to, I've been eyeing up the LP120 since it's basically perfect for my budget but I don't know if there's anything else out there that's better bang for my buck
Any recs or suggestions?

you could buy the 120 or you could buy any number of old turntables with a counterweight for about the same price range. I got my LAB 400 (^pictured) for $200

People always mention buying used TTs here, but it doesn't seem like a very practical move. It just seems to depend too much on finding a good one on craigslist or lucking out with seeing one in a charity shop, which isn't all that helpful when people in your area don't tend to use craigslist.
If the 120 is a good choice, I might just opt for convenience and availability and grab one of them.

into the trash it goes
no but seriously touhou music is great
If you don't have the Super Mario Galaxy Collector's Edition soundtrack in FLAC then you can't call yourself a patrician.
Some of it is really good.
Neckbeards ruin its credibility by considering stuff like Earthbound OST as high art.
My favorite would be the Diablo 2 OST.
>Listening to music at cafe
>girl comes up to me and asks what i'm listening to
>tell her i'm listening to new order
>she asks if i've listened to joy division
>tell her "sort of"
>she kisses me on the cheek
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

What Shoegaze/Dream Pop do you recommend?
>>65588856
I've listened to this. Is there anymore that has this same type of feel?
>>65588915
I haven't listened to anything similar, you could check pic related if you haven't though
God this is depressing
How bout something that doesnt make me want to kill myself
>>65588668
Die
It's not that depressing, Alison is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Anyways, here's a happy little album.
>>65588668
If that's depressing to you I don't even want to show you Elliott Smith you might commit seppuku by the second song
(Not me making fun of Elliott btw I love that sad bastard)

Was Electric Feel their only good song?
>4th dimensional transition
It's really the only one I know by them, but I like it a lot.
>>65588633
This desu.
I actually liked the entire album, but especially 4th dimensional transition, electric feel, and of moons, birds and monsters.

He's a strong contender; that's for sure. He doesn't seem to know what harmony is.

i know it's low-hanging fruit, but i seriously can't think of someone who's made a larger quantity of 0/10 music than will.i.am

Any albums similar to this?
>>65587780
Pretty much anything by Lightning Bolt. Just start from the beginning.
>>65588015
I've listened to Wonderful Rainbow and Hypermagic Mountain, is it worth listening to the rest of their discography?
>>65588046
I really like Ride the Skies, so maybe. I've only heard their first 2 albums.
I'm still butthurt that this didn't happen.
I got to see the tour with NIN and Soundgarden, but Soundgarden wasn't as good as it should have been because it was an opening act and there was just no energy from the crowd. Still, NIN puts on the greatest live shows on the planet.
when they toured almost everywhere else they had amazing openers or co headlined with qotsa and when I saw them we got fucking cold cave
>>65587453
Finally saw NIN in 2013.
Seriously the best technology I've ever seen for a stage show.
