how can you culturally appropriate your own culture? you cant. considering blacks are not accused of culturally appropriating (as far as im aware), it follows that people think being black = being part of black culture, which would be incredibly racist not to mention idiotic.
its just so retarded that people can shout cultural appropriation whenever a white person does something invented by black people. I get stuff like funk and blues were originally about the struggle and cultural liberation of the black man in the racist shithole that was 20th century america, but its just not valid to call it "cultural appropriation" when a white person does it, and not do it when a black person takes the medium and rips it just as much out of its political context. If tyler the creator was white he'd be the number 1 target of cultural appropriation idiots, for instance.

Living in a small town in Eastern Finland. There really isn't much local scene. Except Paavoharju comes from my home town.

Now that the dust has settled and I've listened to it over 25 times, what do you guys think?
Personally, I'm blown away by this album. It seems to take so much away from their other albums without being alike. I don't understand how this band can continue to much such great music from such different perspectives.

It's got some good moments to it but there doesn't seem to be enough substance to make it anywhere as good as In Rainbows. Still miles better than The King of Limbs though, so at least they're moving in the right direction.

Like the album, but not many great songs, it averages around 6.5-7 at most, I'd probably give it a 7-7.5. Glass Eyes is Radiohead's best track, though, fight me.
