Instead of being experimental hip hop,
are Death Grips the beginnings of a new wave of punk?
It's loud, energetic, destructive, and all the traits of the earliest punk bands, instead it incorporates an industrial, electronic, hip hip sound, creating its own unique sound. I can't really think of many bands exactly LIKE Death Grips. I wouldn't be surprised if these new bands sprung up sounding like Death Grips in the future.
