Probably the most inconsistent 70s Genesis release, but it's still worth it because of Firth of Fifth and The Cinema Show.

>If the digital and CD projections are hit, that means Adele would be selling about 2.5 million units in her debut week, which would make it the largest-selling album in a week in Nielsen SoundScan history, which began monitoring album sales in 1991. That record is currently held by *NSYNC’s No Strings Attached, which sold 2.415 million units back in the week ending March 26, 2000.

Is it wrong to classify In Utero as noise rock?
14 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
It doesn't reflect the sound the bulk of the genre has. Alternative rock or noise pop is more accurate, with grunge being the most accurate but not technically a genre.
>>
no, theres a lot of elements that Cobain used in the album, also listen to big black
>>

Man oh man oh man, I could write an essay on this album. The self-realization of the protagonist's identity throughout the album, the progression of his sexual relationships from young innocent to wild then settling into maturity, the way kanye made the album play like a Greek epic while still having insane features (Nicki Minaj's best verse of her career, RZA on So Appalled, Rick Ross on Devil in a New Dress). The timing of this album drop too, after receiving hate for his barrier pushing sound in his previous album, showing everyone who doubted him that he still got some of the best production skills in the game. MBDTF gets a 11/10 in my book, wonderful piece.

Written on my phone soo my comment may be hard to read, o well

literally the second worst Kanye West album
not as deep as you think it is
Yeezus is his best, aesthetically for me, but also with regards to concept and form. Everything you think he does in MBDTF he does in Yeezus, but in a more subtle manner and with much more substance

There's a severe lack of DAW descriptions in the wiki. If you're good with your tool of choice, consider writing a paragraph about it.

Remember to use clyp.it to post your tracks/WIP : posting a clyp.it is just providing sound for a question, posting a soundcloud link is making self-advertisement and the thread doesn't need that.

Remember to check other peoples' clyp.it links to keep the thread healthy.

I wanna learn how to use fl studio and I bought pic related for 40 bucks and its alright but you know where I could learn to play piano? My friend said I need to learn 12 major scales + appregios and chord shapes and inversion. I wanna make hip hop and dream pop if that helps
>>
One more about FL.
Is it user friendly to record audio tracks in the latest versions of FL? I quit to Cubase and Ableton because they have it made better. But now about 4 or 5 years later what about FL?
>>
>>60474504
Audio recording still sucks in FL. Your only really good way of doing it is with Edison. You can try to record it in the playlist, but you don't get a waveform as you're recording so it's kind of balls.

Also I think you can pretty much multitrack only into the playlist

Can you recommend any Frank Zappa similar to Primus. Or any other artists similar!

>thinking another primohead's gonna just wander onto /mu/ less that ten minutes after you make a post, you self important cunt.

I saw them at the big day out in jan last year. stood with a good friend juuust behind the opening mosh circle. Not many heavy bands played that BDO so lots of bogans got turnt as fvvk.

I'll never forget when they finished a song and les started on the chocolate factory theme tune. Fucking maddening shit. It hit me right in the childhood.

10/10 live act, only surpassed by beastwars desu.

Stuff like primus? There was this one album I found on youtube the other day.
