What does everyone think of the new Sunn O))) album?
I think it might be my favorite from them so far. Definitely one of my favorite albums to come out this year.

I loved the album. The third track has the riff from Cannon on Domkirke (2007), but the whole record has a new densely layered feel. Same spirit as m+d but a new incarnation

Holy shit did Mike Love fucking ruin this. I've never deleted tracks on an album, but I'm seriously considering getting rid of Student Demonstration Time and maybe Don't Go Near The Water. The latter isn't THAT bad though. Anyways Surf's Up is the GOAT Beach Boy's song so it makes up for it

This is by far the best progressive rock album ever made. The fact that people suck King Crimson's dick and completely ignore this is evidence that humanity needs to be destroyed.

1. Please learn to respect opinions of others. people enjoy different things and that is alright. variety of opinions on a subject such as music is not a negative thing and it encourages discussion.
Also, the very fact something such as humanity even exists is absolutely astounding - the fact the law of physics created something within the universe that can experience things such as beauty, and understand anything at all - is just amazing. please think bigger, and you'll learn to appreciate and love humanity.
