>millennials don't watch MTV
Most millennials actually do
>>60816919
Millinals watch youtube and the netflix, no one watches cable unless youre a poorfag
>>60816919
Millennial here, can confirm they don't. 18 and high school sr here. Kids barely even watch TV outside of maybe sports these days (including me). Netflix and youtube are the big things along with streaming for free online. Last time I remember anything from MTV being big with my age group was middle school girls watched Teen Mom and Jersey Shore but nothing since.
Anyone have any more examples?

Let's discuss this album and Fishmans.
>How did you discover them?
>Do you listen to anything else by them?
They're pretty much unknown outside of /mu/ to my knowledge. By some insane stretch of imagination at my uni, there was a radio show named after one of their songs, so I guess there's /mu/tants somewhere spreading the word of the fishmans.
>>60816628
>How did you discover them?
On /mu/, loved them ever since
>Do you listen to anything else by them?
A few live shows, and this clip especially

Holy shit, just listened to this for the first time. Where have you been all my life. More like this?
Well the first things you'd probably wanna try is Will's other stuff like Nervous Young Men or How To Leave Town
>>60817686
Nervous Young Man is Killer so far, loving it. It seems to feel like Will is just Alex Gs punk older brother
>inb4 people accuse OP of being will shilling again
Classical music an overrated genre of music. During it's time it was relevant, but in the modern world with audio recording, sampling and technology, the possibilities of what music can be has widened significantly. I'd argue that bands such as Death Grips and Ash Koosha are more sonically complex than any classical piece written on paper ever could be. If you believe that classical is the pinnacle of music in 2015, you're a child who needs to grow up.
why do i come to this place

I agree with this post
Curious as to what /mu/ thinks of Ben Folds, since I haven't seen him mentioned here before.
Had a few good tunes, i remember taping 'rockin the suburbs' off my local radio show. Early pirating ftw
>>60816338
Was better back in the day, definitely has good music, have heard he's kind of a chode, but still like him pretty well.
Fred Jones Part II is some good feels, Philosophy for some tight shit piano playing. And yeah, the whole Rockin the Suburbs album is pretty solid.
Whatever And Ever Amen is still one of my favorite albums. I was really into his stuff in highschool and then hyped when he released a new BFF album.
I recommend any fans to check out his live album with WASO, hearing him play with an orchestra is fantastic.
