There are literally no differences between these albums at all. So why does /mu/ call SBTH a disaster but call TMR a masterpiece?

Compared to the other piece of shit post-rock albums from this year it's LYSF.
New ASMZ is ass.
Also F#A# is the worst GY!BE release.
Best is LYSF or F#A#, worst is Yanqui unless you're a contrarian.
Best SMZ is He Has Left Us Alone or This Is Our Punk Rock, although Fuck Off is easily the best album of their new, harder sound. Worst would be 13 Blues or Born Into Trouble, I always thought Horses was very overrated but I know I'm in the minority there.
Godspeed's new songs sound cool. The first one is great, and the second one is pretty rough but I can see potential in it. I'm glad they seem to be moving away from the heavy drone-rock sound, it worked well for two albums but they need to keep letting themselves evolve. I feel like Asunder didn't get nearly the praise it deserved. The most common complaint was that it was nothing new or surprising, coming from people who had been playing bootlegs of it for years prior to release.
Sings Reign Rebuilder still the best GY!BE-related album.

Is it possible to get a record deal with a solo project?
Assuming it's a solo project where one person plays multiple instruments, therefore not able to play live shows, could it be possible to still get a record deal and if so how?
