so /mu/, do you think we'll ever get to listen to Once Upon a Time in Shaolin?
it's probably shit tbqh
I actually got to hear a snippet of it while it was in a museum before being sold. It was just really clean hip-hop with a konghou sample.
I hope that it's a con and whoever opens the box just hears a load of fart sounds put to a beat while Method Man sings a song from Song of the South and there's just some dairy cream in the box.
THAT'S FUCKING IT
I'M GONNA POST MY FAVORITE ALBUM AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU ARE GONNA SAY HOW GOOD IT IS
HERE IT IS

i like pic related a lot, a bit too long though
Perturbator's work is very varied between albums and that warrants respect i believe
https://newretrowave.bandcamp.com/track/iron-pumper
I love how well they nailed retro on this one, it's like watching an 80s movie, those synths with that funky beat
>>60904805
Perturbator is awesome indeed. Quality work after quality work.
>>60904932
Check out "adrenaline" from that album too, it's awesome.
Which is better, Doom Metal, Death Metal or Black Metal?

Surprised no one's talking about the 5 new soundboards.
https://autechre.bleepstores.com/
Has anyone listened to them yet?
I bought 4 from that store about a month ago. Did they release 5 new ones or are you just talking about the 4 from last month?
OH damn man, just checked and they have 5 new ones(in addition to the original 4). I'll have to buy them soon.
Yep, bought them last night. Have only had time to listen to Nagano but it's next level stuff and my favorite of all the sets so far. Honestly i'd say this is some of their best work ever
Any more albums use acoustic guitars guitars like this? i dont know how to describe it

or plucked string instruments in general, like MEM by Joanna Newsom, is not really that similar to pic related but still sounds beautiful

If you're still here OP, check out John Fahey. Specifically his albums Days Have Gone By and The Yellow Princess. Cheers.
As a Christian in a post-rock band (think Slint more than crescendos), what are some ways that I can express a message of hope and the glory of God without coming across as preachy?
I think Sufjan is an interesting example of someone who obviously has Christian faith but still manages to attract people outside of that single demographic, which is what I want to do. Nihilistic lyrics are cool and all, but I want to offer a message of hope along with what I believe is fantastic instrumentation.
Thoughts?

If you show that you question it you'll avoid being preachy at all.
Were Nirvana just a ripoff of Hüsker Dü?
>>60904052
nirvana were just a shitty ripoff of melvins and sonic youth
Nirvana were a ripoff of Pixies.

You can't, and shouldn't try. It's a hobby and not something you should impose on other people. If you play music around them just try to make sure it's at least somewhat accessible.
