Can you recommend me any /mu/-related books?
Fiction, history, biographies, theory, whatever.
entropy by pynchon
I'm not a fan of jazz music but jazz musicians' biographies are always riveting, dunno why
33⅓ series is good shit (some of them suck though)
This is objectively more patrician than Trout Mask Replica
>>60908557
this is more patrician than Slint
youre objectively gayer than me
patrician doesn't mean what you think it means

>GFOTY

>>60908546
Hell yeah, snagged Union Transfer and Sayreville tickets
Every song sounds the same. What gives?
How does The Great Curve sound like Houses in Motion?
Every song sounds the same. What gives?
It's not the best album ever but even that isnt a valid complaint imo
Is FLAC really that much better than MP3?
if you're a neckbeard elitist faggot like most of /mu/ then yes
Objectively its better. Way better. Whether it really matters is subjective. Most people cant hear the difference. 320MP3 and FLAC sound the same to me.
>>60908570
This, also depends heavily on what you're listening to it through.
>tfw /mu/ ruined the cardiacs for me
more meme threads on this board...yaaaaaay

What are some other albums like it.

Death Grips
Mr. Grips and His Noided Band

To my knowledge that is pretty much the only explicitly noise hip-hop album, so don't expect to find much similar.

Feeling disheartened /mu/.
I made a similar thread a week ago. Basically, I worked my ass off, basically became homeless, and alienated my family just so I could make this collection of demos in hopes that I could get on a label roster.
I'm probably going about it wrong, but so far I haven't heard back from anyone, and I've emailed 15 - 20 and delivered physicals to 4 or 5.
It just feels bad. I don't want to release a project and never hear about it again.
I guess ITT just post demos **you've tried submitting to labels**...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I'm sure if you've dedicated this much time and effort, it will amount to something. It may not be a multimillion dollar record deal, but I'm confident that you can at least make a living off your music. Keep at it, anon, you can do it

Here's some stuff people can give feedback on if they feel so inclined
>>60907938
obviously you have alienate everyone because you think you are better than them. now that no one is calling you back (because you are a no talent dumb bitch), you can realize you aren't better and apologize
>tfw I worked my ass off to make what I genuinely feel is a good album and no labels have responded yet but I don't want to release it independently yet just in case
Any MGMT fans?
>>60907695
Digital Shrimp Graphics pls go
Congratulations is good, OS and s/t are both pretty mediocre

I was a big fan back in the day, I for some reason decided to revisit them this week after not listening to them for years. There first two albums are still really great. I am afraid to try listening to the self titled again.
