Was he right about Wildflower?
>>66111986
It's impossible to be "right" about an album score because music is subjective.
who cares what he thinks about it lmao
Any Van Dyke Parks fans on /mu/?
What did you think of his Twin Peaks performance?

At what age did you grow out of rap, /mu/?
ill tell you when i do
When there was no more to listen to.
>>66111872
I didnt grow out of it, I just grew up
Why? I think it's amazing, but am curious as to why it wasn't received as well as OPN's other stuff
trashed? it's considered one of the best albums of last year by a lot of people
>>66111835
I think there was a lot of expectations because of how well received R+7 was, & GoD just didnt meet em, mine included. It seems a step backwards with what he did with his sounds.
Coincidentally, I finished giving this a listen earlier today so I can also say it seems less cohesive but it still has some good moments.
>>66111835
it has a good concept, but alot of it comes off as edm trash
Child Of Rage was the high point of the album and what it should have been

Bump? :(
I've had no luck with any music recognition software. Where did you get the sample, anon?
>>66112749
It was posted to a Facebook page 3 days ago, in an ironic turn of events I have since found out he got it here. With some luck someone must know. I assume its from a Soundcloud account though since the music video is from a different song. (already searched the comments)

are you rating albums on a 2 point scale
>>66111389
Yes, it's the only non-pretentious way to rate albums. Consider killing yourself if you rate anything with 1-10 or 1-5.
Rubber Soul is a 2/5.
Why do Neutral Meme Hotel fans get so defensive when people don't like this?
They're never able to defend this generic indie shit so they just pass off any criticism as bait instead of arguing why this is so "amazing" and how the painfully generic instrumentation is worth shit.
nice bait
Itaots is pretty good, but OAI is better
>>66111139
Because calling something "painfully generic" is a painfully generic critic that touches on nothing & could be said to literally any album in the world because of how vague it is, so you might have well have just posted bait.
Which one should I stick with? What are the benefits of each one? They both cost the same price ($11.99 AUD/month), and I use iTunes as my main source of listening to music as I own an iPhone and use the built-in music app on the go.
Neither and get Google play all access
>>66111121
I own an iPhone.
spotify has a stronger library of indies, better quality audio, better UI imo, better discounts, better social features
If something's not popular, objectively speaking, it's not good. Please prove me wrong.
Death Grips are popular as far as most bands go. I'm not sure if you're trying to call them shit or not
>>66111016
yeah youre wrong. say for instance some udiscovered band makes a really good song/album or whatever, and it doesnt get any widespread attention because they dont have much of an audience to begin with doesnt make it bad
