I thought he was widely regarded as an impressive orator
>"You have to conquer yourself, and take control of yourself. I make fun of a lot of people, like Brian Wilson, because they don't have control over themselves. I think they're largely phonies. They use their illness as an excuse. I have no mercy for that. I know Wilson idolizes me; he does interviews; he writes his autobiography about me. I know, I know, I know. It's sad, y'know, but I don't know whether you can feel sorry for untalented people. Maybe he's not that talented. Maybe he's overrated. Maybe. Jimi Hendrix...

How do you guys get around this problem?
wtf are you doing? why are some of them artist and some of them album folders?
just do Music/Artist/Year - Title
Name of artist - Name of artist's album
that fucking simple
>>66115056
Album folders only have that album, artist folders hold more than one album by that artist
>>66115067
That's not that problem, I want to know if there's a way to make it so that The Antlers would appear in the A section rather than the T section
Did anyone else notice that Kanye reverted Feedback to its original version? At least he did on Spotify.

Why the fuck would you listen to vaporwave when synthwave exists?
why listen to effortless microgenres if actual legitimate genres exist?
Why listen to subgenres period?

Why the fuck would you listen to synthwave when actual 80s synth music exists?

mu won't stop talking about the new swans album, but i haven't seen this thing mentioned once. swans is literally a branca worship band. not to say that they're bad, but come on, we should at least be crediting the OG where credit is due

I've only listened to Lesson No.1 and The Ascension. Both amazing but I haven't tried his later work and I'm not sure if I ever get round to it. Is it particularly good?
>>66114199
yeah. symphony no. 13 was written like 20 years ago, and he's been performing it, but he just never recorded it until now. it's really good if you like newer swans. i definitely recommend it. iirc some of the people from swans and sonic youth, helped perform some of his 100 guitar symphony pieces in new york back in the 80s before their bands had made a name for themselves
Where should I start when it comes to Cher? And any download links?

In honour of the new reissues, let's have a healthy, straightforward Melvins thread.
Favourite albums? Favourite live shows? Favourite bassists?
stag would be my personal favorite without all the fuckin filler. Skin horse, the bit, tipping the lion, and black bock are all soo good
>>66113617
I have mixed feelings about Stag, man. Like you said there are some killer tracks but I just can't reconcile the trumpets and turntable scratches
>>66113584
Only heard that album and Lysol, but I thought Lysol was really cool
