>Implying this isn't /mu/core already
When did thrash metal die? Was it Cliff Burtons death, Dimebag getting shot, the black album, what was it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_sK0682YDM
>>61359168
It never really died, it just went underground.
>>61359168
Dimebag has nothing to do with thrash. I'd reckon Thrash as a major scene died in 1992. It came back for a bit around 2007 or so. I assume it's on the way out again.
ITT we post our unpopular opinions related to /mu/, I'll start.
I fucking hate Andrew Jackson Jihad. I hate his voice, I hate Folk Punk in general, I hate their fans, I hate all of it.
All of their fans that I know personally are insufferable assholes that circlejerk about anarchism and other stupid bullshit.
Tl;dr: fuck Andrew Jackson Jihad, I hate them.
but its good for moshing, yeah?
>>61358768
Not really imo.
>>61358749
I feel the same way about that band.

help /prod/ I've hit a block
>been learning muh scales/chords
>can easily make a lead
>cannot for the life of me come up with a bassline that "fits" with the lead
I am sure that I am missing/forgetting something really simple. I mean, besides being in the same key, what else should I need to know when making basslines from a lead? Is there a "rule of thumb" ie depending whether the lead is in a major or minor scale? pls halp
>>61341519 pls
>>61342117
just liek make bass

Show me one lyric in this album that insults or threatens white people.
Pro tip: You can't.
>album cover is a pack of rabid black dudes standing over a white man's corpse
>"y-you can't prove it's anti-white!"
you smart
>>61358405
It's a parody of an old picture of a bunch of whites smiling over a black man's burning corpse. It's not meant to be taken seriously in any way.
The album is not anti-white. You're retarded.
>>61358405
No but you're sounding very anti-black. Hm.
/mu/ rarely has threads about slowcore, everyone's favorite early 90s alternative genre, but when it does they're pretty good. Figured I'd start up a general to discuss my favorite genre
>Favorite Slowcore group?
>Favorite Slowcore album?
>RHP vs. Low vs. Duster: who did it best?
>rec, post your tastes, rate other people's taste, ask for new stuff
>have >fun
>>61357996
what's the slowest slocore album mu
>no bluetile lounge
>>61357996
Songs About Leaving is the only good slowcore.
Everything else bores me to death.
