Does /mu/ still buy CDs? I have about 1500 CDs in my personal collection
I bought Blackstar and Computer World just the other day. So yea, people still buy them.
if i run into them at a flea market or a thrift shop while hunting for vinyl records, yea
i dont go out of my way to order them though
I still buy them, i bought like 15 cds in 3 years, but because i'm a poorfag who spend a shitload of money on too much things, i bought the last one 1 month ago.

yellow princess is actually probably my favorite of fahey's
those fahey scrobbles are mainly Yellow Princess and Fare Forward Voyagers
i haven't heard any of those, but i'll definitely check em out. i'm dying for some more stuff like Fahey and Robbie Basho
Post the most beautiful album ever made in your opinion.
when u just begin to understand its meticulous format, you'll shed a tear from its refined beauty
>>61815437

Albums /mu/ tricked you into hating them but they're actually incredible
>>61815361
>/mu/ tricked you into hating
how do you even function in day to day life if you're this impressionable
>>61815361
i'm talking to you as a person.
So listen.
It's not an incredible album. It's a 6/10 at best.

What's next for his career?
Continue being a fag, probably

I need a simple introduction to jazz. I was listening to some stuff on Spotify but it was too advanced for me and made my head hurt. Where should I start? Guitar oriental preferably.
>guitar oriented
>jazz
>>61815159
John Mclaughlin - Extrapolation
Thanks for reminnding me to dl this btw
Guitar oriented Jazz doesn't get better than this
>Kenny Burrell - Introducing Kenny Burrell
>Wes Mongtomery - The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery
>Grant Green - Idle Moments

Will we ever experience a period of creativity in pop music and strong counterculture like the mid to late 60's ever again?
>>61815141
Electronic music in the 90s
Brian Wilson wasnt part of that.
No because pop music is obsolete in terms of making creative or artistic breakthroughs.
Other thread is dead. Show me what you've got.

What's /mu/'s opinion on Hozier?
Take Me To Church is a good song
>>61815189
Have you listened to anything else by him? Take me to Church is by far one of his worst.
>>61815189
he can't even reach his own notes live lol
anyone here use mediamonkey?
I've heard its better than itunes for pc. if not this, what should I use?
>>61815053
musicbee if you want something similar to itunes but with less bs
foobar if you want a shitload of costumization options
>>61815053
musicbee or foobar are what most of /mu/ uses
I use musicbee. it's lightweight, runs well, and has good tools for large library management.
foobar didn't work on my computer for some reason that's why I don't use it but afaik it's got all the same features as musicbee but with a bit more customizability.
>>61815053
I use it. It's ok.
