You sound like you're burnt out and need a break familia.
Music should come from personal experiences, take some time off and go do something different from your normal life to inspire you. Or even try going about it a different way. Different recording techniques, different instruments, tunings etc. You need to shake up the mental pathways.

Overall I would honestly give it to Andy Stott just because he has released nothing but quality throughout this decade.
Otherwise I would maybe say James Holden because last decade he released the best in progressive house in Balance 005, then now he takes dance music in general to a new direction with The Inheritors that came out back in 2013.
Not sure who I would pick from the more experimental/modern classical/electroacoustic side of things. Maybe Jason Lescalleet? His work with Lambkin this decade has been pretty nice and honestly imo better than The Breadwinner, though the one I really liked from him was Much To My Demise from 2014.

Thinking anything besides the white album is the best Beatles album is genuinely embarrassing. I think that the Beatles are honestly an overblown meme, but the white album stands above everything else they've ever done. Its a beautiful and transcendent embodiment of the human spirit. It might just be the most perfect musical work front to back ever. To me, the fact that its white means that it is supposed to serve as an object on which to project your psyche. It feels so haunted. Whenever I listen to it, especially on acid, I feel what everyone else who has listened to it before me has.
PS, Back in the USSR is the worst song on it

Before Kanye came up, mainstream rap was run exclusively for faster rap from people from the ghetto. He was the first middle class rap star, and he spoke about issues that people from outside the ghetto could relate. Suddenly it was ok to talk about stuff other than gangsta shit. A couple of years later, he released 808's & Heartbreak, an album more melodic than anything else hitting mainstream, with very minimal and overall sad feeling. Most rap fans agree that Drake wouldn't have had that big of a hit if 808's didn't paved the way.
Honestly you can see Kanye's influence in almost every current big name: Kendrick, Cole, Joey, Krit, Chance... all were Kanye fans before they became successful, each getting more influence from one of Kanye's styles.
TL;DR: show it was ok to be middle class and emotional.
