He's a pretty good producer. As far as rapping goes he's decent but there's a lot of room for improvement,He is improving tho and I think in 2 years or so He'll be great and I'll enjoy him a lot more

Alot of ambient is very minimal, but that doesn't mean it's not inspired. artists like Stars Of The Lid had a very distinctive and creative sound, and their music is just divinely beautiful at times. there is ALOT of charm in minimalism, i think you should give it another chance...
But aniway, if you want ambient that has more "things" going in it though, try:

Lustomord - Heresy (from the dark ambient side)

All their albums up until Monster are pretty great. R.E.M.'s 80s albums are highly recommended. Automatic For The People is their best 90s album though. The rest isn't too amazing. My personal favorite album is Reckoning but I'd start with Chronic Town or Murmur and go album to album throughout their discography.

Anyway I just took a nap while listening to Music Has the Right To Children. I don't know if putting me to sleep is a good a bad thing, but the nap was better than other naps. I don't remember my dreams, but it felt so colorful.
