Y'all still like Sadboys/Yung Lean here?
What do you think of this collage I made? Also Sadrap/emotional/vaporwave thread.
No.
>this collage I made
I really want to believe you're in your early to mid teens.
If you're by any chance 20+ already, then let me free you from suffering by shooting your head off. Just give me your address.

ITT: Patrician albums by pleb bands
I don't see why people hate Boards of Canada's Campfire Headphase. It had classics like Dayvan Cowboy and Peacock Tail, and desu I found it better than Geogaddi.
It's the most accessible album by them and that triggers /mu/ into hating it
>>61941437
what point are you trying to make? Not everyone has to like everything senpai
>>61942015
Well I get that. I just want to know why the general consensus thinks CH is the worst album from BoC
Thread for those who've advanced past /mu/core, p4k BNM and the same old. For those who've...
a) been listening to music seriously for 5+ years
b) with musical training and regularly perform music
Don't be offended, this is not meant to be pretentious, its just some of us have moved past the general essentials, p4k BNM and the latest hype album and have more developed tastes. No /mu/core, BNM, Fantanocore or chart music allowed. Do not troll or derail the thread with off-topic discussion.
What music have you been enjoying lately?
I'm lisenting to SoiSong right now. It's basically the perfect music.
I guess I'll start off. Do you guys like or ever heard of Mae Shi? I like them especially Terrorbird and Heartbeeps.

so, now that 2015 has been over for about a month, can we have a civilized discussion about this album?
why do /mu/tants think this is a bad album? do people think that gkmc was really "better" than tpab? why do we think that this was bad?
>>61941332
GKMC was the second best rap album of all time behind Macadelic. TPAB was just boring. Too much soul and funk too. I don't think it was bad. Just wasn't that great. 6 maybe 7 out of 10 on a good day
THIS

>why do /mu/tants think this is a bad album?
contrarianism reigns
>do people think that gkmc was really "better" than tpab?
They're on par with each other, I think it's a matter of personal tastes.
>why do we think that this was bad?
>we
stop herding like a faggot to what the autists on this site think
College student here. Gonna have a hell of a lot of homework this semester and I was wondering, what does /mus/ listen to while it does homework?
Pic related, that's what I'm listening to now
Brian Eno
J Dilla
Ariel Pink
Ween

Nothing. If you can do your homework when you're listening to music then your classes aren't hard enough.
I generally listen to Tim Hecker, Boards of Canada, Or Gas while doing work. Usually stuff that you can listen to in the background without it getting distracting. Also love Tame Impala.
>Thinking your kpop slut idols aren't getting fucked by their managers

Today I ventured into harsh noise for the first time with Merzbow's Venereology. I got what I expected: noise. The album raised some important questions, and I got more out of the questions than the actual music (music?). I asked myself things like
>Why do I consider these sounds to be violent?
>Why do we value things like pattern and predictability in art, and what does it say about us?
>Why does near-random noise create feelings of uneasiness?
And similar questions.
I...

The genre varies quite a bit, because there are an infinite number of ways to make noise.
Lots of noise artists dabble in other styles of music as well.
>>61941308
>there are an infinite number of ways to make noise.
Of course. Could you recommend anything in the opposite direction of Merzbow then?

What kind of headphones does /mu/ use? Which ones are best for studio/recreational/live audio use?
I'm looking at some good headphones under $100
Sennheiser HD280
NVX Audio XPT100
Sony MDR-7506
bump also looking for ear phones
I got some AKG K240s and they sound great. Not a basshead headphone, but has an amazing treble response that makes the cans sound very shiny. I love em. $69 from Amazon.
