>Robert Miles - Children
Literally the one song that single handedly introduced made Trance into the top 40 neighborhood.
Any chance they release a version of this album with the rap removed? I'm not 15 years old.
le
>i'm not 15! i'm 16!
>Heh "rap", I am far too old for this uncivilized ape music.
>I enjoy the finer things in life.
>Oh, fun? I stopped having that ages ago. Fun is for the common peasant.
>I am so much better than everyone else
why do I never see anyone talking about this album?

Their debut and Iowa are great, the rest into the trash it goes
Hi /mu/, not-/mu/ here, but I had an idea for a thread.
For songs that you can't remember or never knew the names of; songs that you are having trouble finding/saucing.
This can be songs that you have a clip of the actual audio, but can't find sauce. Or songs that you know a few of the lyrics or maybe the wrong lyrics to.
Hard Mode: All you know is some part of the melody. You can either try and describe it to other anons, or upload yourself singing it somewhere and link it here.
Jazz and Classical are two genres I often have a hard time...

Can't help you sorry.
I've been trying to remember the name of a band and album, but can't quite pin it down. They are a 90's alt rock band, sort of post grunge with thick distorted riffs. I always parallel their sound with that album Fantastic Planet.
The band name is like untruly or unrealy or something and the album title goes something along the lines of "tales from the something or like "songs from the something."
The album cover is blue yellow and green with a yellow/green circle dominating most of the image. Always...

I wasn't asking for help anon, but thanks anyway. The two examples that I posted are of songs that I found after much searching.
But yeah, posts like yours is what I am looking for. Hopefully other anons can help you, so we need to keep the thread bumped with requests and answers.

closest thing I could think of
ITT: we post album covers upside down and others guess what album it is
Jokes on you, I'm standing on my head.
thats stupid you could figure it out just by rotating the image 180 degrees in paint
Paint? What are you, GradeAUnderA?
pick one
I like many of those albums but its obvy pink floyd.

How much has /mu/ influenced your taste in music?
not much, i just come here to shitpost
>>66245539
Not much, but without /mu/ I wouldn't have found some of the hidden gems like Comus and Exuma though.
I've definitely discovered a few favourites in sharethreads but /mu/core is rarely my flavour. I like DG a lot though
Hi /mu/
This is my second thread I'm posting about this, my first being archived here >>66193163
I am wondering what the response is and who would be interested in taking part in an ongoing thread where we vote on a genre for each month and listen and discuss that genre. Each thread could look something like this:
Welcome to /monthly/!
/monthly/ is an ongoing thread where we choose a genre to listen to for the month and listen to together. Why? In doing this we generate more...

I thought we decided on newwave???
and to think that he turned down the bass to make the drums more prominent. i know the st. anger snare is the worst drum sound metallica ever had, but this definitely takes second place for worst drum sound imo.
lars ulrich just sucks ass
meallica made a 7/10 album with kill them all and the rest are shit
thankfully the songs are really good on justice, and pretty much the only metallica album i ever listen to when i listen to metallica.
in regards to the subpar mix, the thing is, cliff burton had died and the band wasn't ready to have someone else record new basslines (newsted) so they intentionally lowered all of his parts out of respect to burton (which was obviously totally a dick move either way). everyone noticed this but lars and james had final say so it went out like that. as far as the drum sound, yes, they sound very dry and tinny sounding (especially the...
