A little hypocritical considering he was starting Mondo Cane at the time but you can easily forgive him. Wolfmother built their entire career by ripping of 70's Rock while Patton actually has done a multitude of different musical acts and projects. Plus he has an Amazing vocal range
Here's the thing about Mike. The man has some serious pipes. He has a six octave range and excels in any octave. He writes brilliant songs. And his stage presence is only matched by Adolf Hitler.
Seriously, Watch Mr. Bungle play Pink Cigarette at Bizarre Festival and then watch a video of the Nuremburg rallies. We better thank our lucky stars Mike didn't go into politics or he would have taken over the world.
But Mr. Bungle as a whole had a brilliant dynamic. It wasn't just the Mike Patton backup band. They all made huge creative contributions to what made Bungle what it is. Yes Mike wrote Girls of Porn, Sweet Charity and The Air conditioned Nightmare.
But Trevor Dunn wrote Retrovertigo, The holy Filament and Phlegmatics. Trey Spruance wrote Desert Search for Techno Allah, None of them know they were robots, Golem II the bionic vapour boy.
Other bands like Nirvana for instance were not like that. Nirvana was basically just the Kurt Cobain backup band. Mr. Bungle was the perfect storm of legendary talent, and Mike was the face of it all, the delicious cherry on top of an already delicious sundae.
He was the ambassador that allowed the amazing talent of the combo that was Mr. Bungle to be brought into our lives. He was the prism that focused the lazer beams from the brains of Trevor, Trey, Heifietz and Mckinnon and amplified them until they were powerful enough to blow our minds out through our ear holes.
Yes, he is the most incredible front man who has ever lived, hands down.

What does /mu/ think of Canibus?
Apparently blacklisted from music labels for "speaking the truth" on songs like Channel Zero.
I just see very few discussions about him and his music, except on conspiracy forums who use people like him and Vinnie Paz's words as a bible.
Rip the Jacker is his only decent album, mainly because of Stoupe production. He usually has an awful ear for beats, never changes up his flow, and likes to use a lot of big words to say a whole lot of nothing

The reason canibus lost is cuz hes more machine now that anything. He literally is a mixing board now, thats how he sees himself. The only problem is machines cannot adapt, machines are cold and calculated to a certain degree. The Canibus we all know got lost within infinity. Infinity concepts, numbers & mathematics, rite now bis's brain thinks too much like a computer, it makes it hard for him to function properly without malfunctioning (what he did tonight). His cpu processor is so worried about layers that simple concepts cannot be grasped anymore. Technology although has progressed his music, in human surroundings like kotd, only holds his true physical human nature back

This winter I would listen to it every morning in the bus heading to school. I live in the north, so it's pitch dark outside and the bus driver was really nice so he would turn off most of the lights and, sitting in the dark, it felt like I was merely just existing.
