Hear me out, I'm a diehard Bowie fan. But the album "Heroes" never really connected with me as a whole. Don't get me wrong the title track is a classic, Secret Life Of Arabia is terrific, I love Joe The Lion and Black Out is wonderful. But the rest just leaves me cold.
I'm a huge fan of Eno and Fripp. 1.Outside is my favorite Bowie album, yet most people find that one too abstract. "Heroes" is still a 8/10, 4/5 classic for me. I just don't hold it close to my heart for some odd reason.
>>64122219
Eh it's just your opinion. I was never crazy about "Dirty Mind" by Prince or "Velvet Underground & Nico." Yet I LOVE LOVE LOVE Prince and Lou Reed. Somethings connect with us others don't it's what makes us all unique and fun to get to know. You're not a pleb or an idiot if your taste is slightly "different."
>>64122219
Don't worry anon, I didn't like Heroes either.
The only song that I really liked on there was Heroes.
>>64122219
it's a great album, but pretty entry level. bowie has a lot of better albums.

just finished listening to all her 4 albums, have to say don't see the appeal. (music-wise of course)
why did you listen to all four of her albums?
you should have known by the first that you were being memed
>>64122057
thought it might get better with each new one
>>64122028
That's too bad.
See ya.
>>64121250
no, its not very good
Sure
Singing is good, instrumentation you could probably very easily replicate in FL Studio but overall it's enjoyable
Yeah it's a great album with interesting production throughout it. Don't listen to the haters.
Going on a road trip soon, need to put together a good playlist, that's where you cool cats come in.
Every Kyuss album on repeat

Ape Sounds - Nigo
Shit's my jam, yo.
hey /mu/, i'm really into a small section of krautrock and looking for more albums or bands that have the sort of four-on-the-floor motorik drumming combined with cool long experimental jams heard on albums like neu! 1 and kraftwerk 1. songs specifically like hallogallo, negativland, and ruckzuck (although i really do love all of both of those albums)
while i really like can, they're not really the sound i'm searching for. some of the only bands i've found that fit this sound are beak> and camera. faust iv has some of it but i'm not super in...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
or yknow, just /krautrock/ general, if you want
It's not what you are asking for but this is an extremely unique krautrock album that doesn't get enough love.
>>64121389
i'll check it out regardless. i have love for much of the genre desu, just wanted to poke around and see if people could help me find more of my favorite part
Now that the dust has finally settled, what do you think pic related? It's actually pretty good.
*think of
Whoops, my bad.
Not their best work but better than all of the shit that came after it.
Like most Devo albums, strong singles, forgettable filler. I don't remember what any track on side 2 sounds like aside from Big Mess, which is a fucking great song.
At least it's not the album that came after it, which should be called "Synthesizer Preset Abomination," although Shout and Here to Go are decent tracks.
Q: Are We Not Men is clearly their best work, but New Traditionalists is up there as well.
>I Know There's An Answer
>there's not
>he didn't learn the answer is death
When asked what the "answer" was, Wilson said it was: "Your self. There is an answer for you."
I thought the answer was pot
What do you do when listening to music? Are you usually walking, picturing the images that come to mind with the music, something else entirely?
stare at the track timer
>>64119440
I usually draw or skate
Usually fucking around on the Internet, probably jack off at some point.
Maybe if I had a couch I could just like, sit on it and chill, like I used to, but most music doesn't really deserve my full attention anyway.
