I think it's mainly a shipping thing, and definitely isn't limited to the LGBT community. It actually seems more common among straights, any time people of the opposite sex are emotionally close to each other in any way, everyone insists on seeing it as romantic/sexual, and this is true of male/female platonic relationships both in fiction and irl. Shipping is not inherently related to lgbt stuff.
It's just that some women get all hot and giddy when imagining 2 guys doing something etc, and at times it's just a fetish projected on 2 characters.

I see lgbt often complain about homophobia and transphobia while often every lgbt faction tends to dislike others.

It depends on a lot of factors.
Some anti-androgenic substances are used to treat excessive acne, birth control pills are basically a crazy cocktail of hormones. Estrogen supplements are most commonly used not by trans women, but by post-menopausal cis women. What are you thinking of, exactly?

So, when people say gender is a social construct... how do they reconcile that with the existence of trans people and the experience of dysphoria?

So ever since I've known my friend since our freshman year of high school. We have spent a ton of time together and I've noticed that he acts very flamboyant around our group very often. (It's weird cause after I came out as trans MtF in our group he was the one who started acting more comfortable. He's actually a bit more comfortable with his sexuality than I am.) All of this aside the other night our group was having dinner and we all asked him why he made so many gay comments and joke, more than the rest of us usually do. I've actually liked him for a long time and the last two times I slept over his house we slept in the same bed and he would hold on to me a little and then act surprised if he caught himself doing it in his "sleep". To the point now, we were talking and he said he's just bicurious. How do I get him to try something with me.
