Today at work this bi girl made me feel like I was back in high school. We were arguing over politics or something dumb and she blamed my lack of concern with Trump being the GOP nominee with me being straight. I told her that I was bi but just currently had a girlfriend but she said I was "straight passing." I have a serious question that some may consider bait.
I've been watching TED talks about gene editing and the CRISPR gene.
Basically in a few decades we'll be making chimeras, and have the ability to alter our genes.
I've always wanted to be a lizard man, not on the scale of those idiots that say "you're sitting on my tail" and otherkin sort of people, but, to have scales and slit pupils and whatnot. With gene editing that'll be possible. I feel like a piece of shit in a human body, and that I wasn't born in the wrong time.
So, what elevates a transperson's struggle above mine? If I say it to anyone I seem like a schizo and I get zero support from anyone, but it's not like I'm going to be able to do anything until the science is there for it.
Also, what are your thoughts on gene editing and "designer humans"?

I think I've grown out of wanting to transition. And now I'm just left with the desire to be a woman but no will or want to do anything about it. I actively do not want to transition. I think it's disgsusting and pathetic. To give in to the desire would shame me. I'm too stuborn. At who I'm not really sure. Maybe god, or the universe.
I'm just wrong. A wrong person. I shouldn't exist. This isn't right. At this point I'm just waiting for the universe to realise it has fucked up and to fix this. My entire head is fucked though. It's taken me many years of insufferable existential angst to even begin to comprehend what was going on in my head. Now I've just accepted that I'm insane. I don't suffer from body dysmorophia. I don't hear voices or see things that aren't there. There's nothing diagnosibly wrong with me what so ever. I'm just fucked in the head.
