Because they're, for most people, a range toy.
Thus, instead of what's best, what people want is what they like better.
Therefore it makes no difference.
The majority of new production 1911's have most of those features, but the humped mainspring housing never really caught on, and trigger length is decided now not by the manufacturer, but by the needs of the user.

You can buy a fully assembled ar, but until a stripped lower has an upper with a 16 inch barrel attached it could either be designated as a pistol or rifle. It's bullshit, I know. But just get your mom or dad to buy it for you as a birthday gift, but don't pay them back or its technical a straw purchase
Lowers aren't long guns. You can buy rifles or shotguns but not AR lowers or tripod-mounted belt feds because fuck you you're not old enough to drink.

What the Soviets did was amazing but it wasnt the whole of China. It was Manchuria, northern Korea, Sakhalin and the Kuril island chain.

Contact Canada Ammo see if they can order you one.
Not sure if they are any here yet but uppers don't require classification so it all depends if Ares has them listed with ITAR for export.
If Canada ammo won't contact Ares directly and ask if the upper is ITAR listed if yes buy one states side and have IRGuns, Prophet river or Aztec armory to import it.
