Why would anybody choose to serve on a submarine?
It's bad enough being on the surface and your vessel getting hit why the fuck would you want to experience that 1000ft below the waves?
It's the only part of the navy where a gay sailor can reliably find a husband.

There are some good sides to a submariner

I've noticed recently there's quite a lot of misinformation, old wives tales, and just false things floating around on /k/ about what people think it is that law enforcement does, how we train, how much we shoot, etc.
So since tonight is my night off I've got spare time and will answer any reasonable questions you guys may have about the job.
Note: Reasonable questions is exactly just that. Bait trying to start an argument will be ignored.
