Each potential customer should be given the gun, a modicum of tactical gear, and a plane ticket to an active warzone in which they must survive for a week. If they find they can depend on the gun for their survival, they'll be much more ready and confident to make the purchase, and if not, well, you probably weren't going to get their money anyway.
