Do your research first? Manage your budget carefully. After your team, first thing you need to hire is an accountant (or learn accounting skills). And have a legal team on hand, just in case.

Also the cream of the crop in the IJN would not have become pilots since they were not officers, whereas in the USN pilots had to be officers.

Probably. Units will most likely be drones, robots and other units that are autonomous or remote controlled. The operators will be on a different continent.
Continuous miniaturization means each unit will be loaded with sensors for FLIR, night vision, acoustics, radio and more and provide a flood of intelligence data back to the operators and thus push back the fog of war.
Units can be small and unobtrusive like birds, dogs, rodents that can get in everywhere and carry sensors or ordnance.
Western politicians have little appetite for large body counts and will embrace this development.

The factory nut was a real bitch to get off though.
I ordered an ar tool just to remove it and had to hit the tool repeatedly with a hamner, tried heat and eventually cut on it with a Dremel before putting all my weight on it to finally torque it off.
I'm a big guy.
I put a pmag in a vice between a couple boards and used that to hold everything. The soft would cracked but I think the pmag is okay... Haven't actually looked.
I think spec is like 30-80lbft which is a pretty big range so it should work... Most of the time you just have to take what the barrel nut will give you too line up the gas tube unless you want to fuck around with shims...

I narrowed it down to these two, which one /k/? I already own a 19 and love it but I since I can
t carry 15 rounds I thought I should go with the best round you can find in a 10 round handgun. What's the practicality of 45acp v 10mm? Will the recoil on the 10mm be too excessive that it will be hard to get follow-up shots? Will the price of 10mm hinder my ability to practice with the firearm?

That would be my #1 concern personally, but that's a financial question only you can answer. But honestly I think you should roll with .45 because the difference is negligible, you can find them easier, and it's obviously cheaper.

Agreed with this anon, 10mm will be significanly more expensive to shoot and practice than 45, that'll pretty much be your big determination.
Also, can't speak from personal experience, but I have heard that 10mm has a larger muzzle flash, particularly if you're firing at night. Granted that shouldn't make too big a diff, but it is something I've seen come up in 10mm discussions.
