I don't what the fuck got into me but I'm obsessed with Lugers lately. I can drop about $2k tops and I want a nice one. There's so much shit out there it's hard to choose. OP, listen carefully to any and all instructions your friends give you and apply common sense to them to verify.
Use good trigger discipline, keep the barrel pointed the right way, etc.
The biggest tip I can give that I learned myself when I shot my first handgun (which was only a month or so ago) is to let the slide do the work when you rack it. Just pull back and let go.

When I try to shoot quick, I still get a grouping but it's 6" low at 21'.
Trying not to jerk trigger, anticipate recoil or look over sights.

Just standing and aiming, I shoot at a level that I am very proud of. Standing, aiming at 75 feet I can get about a 5" group. It's not Miculek territory or anything but I'm checking off that competency as acquired.
There is no place handy to practice moving and shooting or shooting from different positions. That leaves shooting wrong handed and shooting quickly. I want to get shooting...

The US should go back to having a "Bomber Air Force" where there are more bombers than fighters. Sure they are more expensive, but they get more work done every time they are sent out. For example, the B-1B accounts for only 7% of sorties against ISIS but it has dropped more bombs on ISIS than any other aircraft.

Bombers are also the perfect platform for delivering CAS because of their amazing payload and loiter time.

Last but certainly not least, it is easier to make a stealth bomber than a stealth fighter. The B-2 has an RCS smaller than an insect and it is immune to all radar bands, making it practically undetectable at any range. Stealth fighters like the F-22 and F-35 are only resistant to the X-band.

i reload all my own ammo so not a problem currently sitting on about 3500 rounds of loaded ammo and still got 2 5gal buckets of brass to clean,deprime and load.
