Someone want to explain these Asian Looking Nazis? I remember in school being told the Germans wanted to kill all non whites, including Asians.

Do we need to remind you of who the Axis powers were?

i dont normally lurk /k/ but ive been hearing on other boards that /k/ hates chris kyle/ the american sniper movie with a passion
i understand that it is hyped up and propaganda, but other than that why dont you all like him?
>>30065229
He was a pathological liar, not only with his "autobiography" but with his claims that he was donating all of his book's proceeds to Vet charities.
Guy was a douchebag, hero or not.
>>30065257
what exactly did he lie about?
i didnt read the book, but did he really lie or did producers add dumb shit into themovie to make it better
>>30065276
I'm too lazy to look it up exactly, but off the top of my head, he said he found WMD stuff somehow connected to France, and he claimed he shot looters in New Orleans after Katrina. The former, were it true, would have started a war with the frogs, the latter is not only a lie he admitted to, but it'd be illegal.
There is a pack of coyotes roaming around my neighborhood at night. I live in a small town but there are large wooded areas around my house. I cant hunt here legally but these fucking asshole coyotes have killed a dog in my neighborhood and they are moving closer and closer in. My buddy saw several of them outside of a neighbors house.
I cant shoot here because of liberal fuck wads but i really do need to deal with this because im worried about my pets.
>How to remove yotes without getting caught?
>>30065021
Jew York passed a law a while back that allowed low power bow hunting in the suburbs to curb the dear population. Check if your state has one of those. I would say traps come next but that would be rather tedious doing it one by one. Fire kills most things. Big traps like a large rock or concrete slab supported by a stick would kill a lot at once. High power pellet rifle would probably be best as there are next to no laws preventing its use and would be rather effective even if it is probably the most expensive option.

INCOMING BAN!!!!!
Dives into foxhole
A buddy of mine used to lay down in the grass where deer would like with a bow, then what he would do is wait until they got around 10-5 feet from him and then cripple one, jump up with a knife and slit it's throat. he lives in a suburb like yours. Now not saying you should do that cos odds are you'd get gutted, but prolly call the forest service or if that doesn't work get a good bow and some NVGs or something akin, get a buddy and hunt them at 0000-0400 to scare the shit out of them, or trail them to their den and destroy it/cover it up. But i'd recommend...

Hell yeah
>>30064801
Why not? A group of soldiers gets to their destination quickly without getting tired.
Considering how relaxed they seem to be, they must be far away from the frontlines. On top of that, the soldiers seem to have fun doing this all, raising morale.

Tell me /k/, what's your dream engagement like?
>>30064504
I live
I've had drunk/crazies bang on the door of my studio apartment (front door in spitting distance of my bed) while trying the knob, screaming for "help"
My eyes bugged out of my head, I got tunnel vision, and my legs wouldn't stop shaking.
I never want to be in a fight for my life. But if I have to be, I want to win it
>>30064504
Not really a dream, but I have bad dreams of having to put someone down and it becomes a national story, ruining my life in the process

What do you guys think of minishells for home defense vs 2 3/4 or 3"? Less power, but greater capacity.
Worth the trade for the distance you'll typically be engaging a threat at?
>>30064270
>Worth the trade for the distance you'll typically be engaging a threat at?
I think it's very worth it. I'm more worried about over-penetration by far than not killing someone with buckshot.
The extra capacity is nice too, but it's not the main reason I'd worry about using full sized shotshells vs minis.
>>30064278
Do you know about any feeding issues they might have? I've never used them, but it seems like a potential problem.
Using a cheap 870 clone.

Well that is just like, your opinion man.
>>30063956
OP, I mean best assault rifle as in standard issue, for infantry, not for some fag who dumps 5 grand in an ar just to be better than everyone else

So /k/ after decades to look through historical records and with hindsight and three wars, I have a question about the usefulness of the M1 carbine. Was having a niche carbine rifle worthwhile for the US Army or would it have been been better to equip second line troops with a submachine gun? Did the argument that a carbine would allow second line troops to engage SMG armed troops from greater distance actual ever hold true?
So was the M1 Carbine a worthwhile rifle? Did it do it's job? Could an SMG have done the same job better?
>>30061142
Yes an SMG would have been better. It's why the m2 and m3 carbines are select fire.
>>30061142
The M1 carbine was the best rifle of WW2 and wasn't outclassed until the AR-15 came online. It's better than both the STG-44 and postwar guns like the AKM in every way imaginable.
>Did the argument that a carbine would allow second line troops to engage SMG armed troops from greater distance actual ever hold
true?
More about those second line troops being able to actually make hits with a light weight carbine over a pistol. If they have played with the cartridge a little more, and picked up the assault rifle idea sooner it could have been fantastic
Where did all of the variety go?
Has Obummer really crippled our gun culture to the point that all people will buy is scary assault weapons?
>>30060810
Muh Ar and poorfags.
>>30060810
You may be right.
It also doesn't help that the milsurp market is drying up. It pains me every day to think that I wasn't interested in firearms during the days of the $100 nuggets and $150 SKSs.
With entry level AR15s nearing the $550-600 range it sounds silly to most people to buy a $300 surplus.
>>30060810
>>30060825
Also, to expand on that point, there's just no demand anymore for interesting or unique firearms. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would absolutely love to see a firearms manufacture start to churn out some interesting and unique designs, but the market is mostly focused on ARs, AKs, and other tactical rifles right now.
Going innawoods for a while in Commiefornia, Yosemite to be more precise.
Worth the potential shit to bring along a shotgun and stash it in the backseat underneath a bunch of stuff?
I figure the odds of me needing it are exceptionally low and bears will be deterred a lot more by 5 shells of buckshot than pepper spray.
>>30060055
If you're already shoving it in the backseat and under stuff, you can just put it in the trunk unloaded while driving and have your ass covered.
No problem innawoods, if you have to use it, nobody is going to be around to yell "HEY THAT GUN WAS ALREADY LOADED!"
Then when you leave, just empty it and put the ammo somewhere else. Worst case scenario and a cop searches you for some reason on your way back, everything is nice and legal.
>>30060093
Long guns are legal to carry in CA as long as they're not loaded?
I thought CA was exclusively no funs allowed, but that helps, thanks.
>>30060100
only in certain areas
you can't open carry unloaded in a city, for instance
it only applies to unincorporated areas
