Just bought an old Tiger Mask DVD from Family Mart. The first match was, by wrestling standard, boring. No flash, no fanfare - just looked like two guys street fighting.
At one point dude had both hands wrapped around the other guy's neck, putting all of his weight into it.
The match ended after less than five minutes when one stomped on the other guy's head, hard, until he was unconscious.
Nothing I just saw gave any indication that it was a staged show like the WWE. It looks like UFC with no ruled.
