飾り棚にする
冷蔵庫には特殊な照明がついていて、なおかつ本棚に似た形状がフィギュアや食物の陳列に適している。洋服はたたんで入れることしかできないが、タンスの代わりをすることができる。また冷蔵庫の扉にはポケットがついていることが多いため、切花を挿す、マガジンラックにするなど有効利用したいものである。パンツ屋の家のロリムックが冷蔵保存されているらしい。

If you really can't find a place to sleep, search for a manga cafe, you can sleep there and a lot of people do it too.
Not very comfortable, but at least you have a computer and some manga there, so why not.

There aren't many big mistakes that you should avoid as a foreigner in Japan... Even if you walk with you bag wide open in Japan no one would take anything from you (from experience) and if you do anything touristy or weird, locals will brush it off as a gaijin doing gaijin stuff.
