Icon flags will not be removed as they were first made by Brits themselves. Also they have been part of the extension since long before I got involved in this. It is by no means an idea of mine.

Because the Western Sahara flag does have an assigned ISO code for future use unlike many other disputed territories. Additionally, there is a Western Sahara flag stored in 4chan's server unlike Kosovo or Abkhazia. It's there, you just can't post with it.

If you're still here and changing Welsh flags, could you fix mine up?
Right now I have a generic white flag with some unrecognisable symbol, when it's supposed to be pic related, it's the official county flag since 2012.
The county is called Caernarfonshire by the English, but every Welsh local around here calls the county by its cultural and historic name of "Gwynedd".

This flag was registered with the Flag Institute in 2012 yet Wikipedia says this:

It's part of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Not sure why it's not connected. Probably just an error on the template-maker's part.
Lads think I've come up with a proper solution to the UK that satisfies both parties.
Lieutenancy areas are similar to counties which people identify with (as opposed to volatile council areas which people seem to hate), the difference being cities are taken into account. So we don't need duplicate files and people from Scotland, Wales and NI can pick a flag they identify with instead of a trashy blob.
