but thats not Star
Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!
But enough about me, how was your weekend?
A couplle of Al Williamson stories today... but first, a cover story!
So was this man a one hit wonder who sabotaged his own success? Did he really leave Disney or was he politely fired? I didn't even like the last half of season two. It stopped feeling like Gravity falls and more like some desperate sad attempt to impress Justin Roiland. The finale was rushed as hell and this new show on FOX has pretty much died in the water. So what's to become of little Alex? I he just going to fade into obscurity and alcoholism and die by 45?
He was a hack that got lucky.
You Pretty much hit it on the dot in terms of him sucking Justin's dick. He stopped caring about his show, because his head was too big, and it went to shit.
Plus he broke up with GFGGF, broke her attentionwhorish heart, and that cannot be forgiven.

Which was better?

I didn't see the TT/PPG crossover episode. SU/UG was surprisingly strong.
>>84420513
Say Uncle by a longshot.
Like it's not even funny how much better they work than TTG and PPG screamfest 2016
There was nothing really wrong with Say Uncle. It established itself as a joke episode right off the bat and was pretty funny at that.
Going to Storytime some Anderson Story because Dredd sometime is not enough.

So how do you guys think this will be?
I only watched the first episode of JJ, was he good there otherwise?
I just hope he has some kinda shout-out to his original costume, even if it's just a ripped yellow shirt. Please don't make this a thread about how triggered you are that he tapped a white girl
>>84415950
Didn't care much about JJ, but I thought he was one of the best parts about the show.
Good actor, excited to see how the series will be.
Honestly he didn't even really do anything in JJ. Just hooks up with her, they argue when he finds out about his wife, and then he disappears for 10 episodes until the end. I forgot he was in the show for a while, he basically didn't matter.
I'm just like "snap Kilgrave's neck bro", but it's never that simple. Cue Luke Cage vs JJ battle.
First hinted at WonderCon.
Here’s the official solicit text for the upcoming comic, set to launch this Fall:

>The reception of Jessica Jones’ Netflix show was generally positive across the board, but that doesn’t mean Bendis is changing the comic to be more like the show. The show and the comic take place in very different Marvel universes, so don’t count on Hellcat, Nuke and all of Jessica’s quirky neighbors suddenly popping up in the comic. However, the show’s impact on the comic is not lost on Marvel Comics Executive Editor Tom Brevoort.

Well damn, I'm actually excited about a Marvel comic I guess. As long as he doesn't do anything stupid like break her up with Luke, I'm excited.

>Jess gets a Book
OH YE-
>We're going to open up a book where Jessica's world has blown up in her face. She's at a place you'll least expect her.
Oh, no. Marvel is gonna destroy the only good relationship in the whole verse.
Disney put the next episode up on demand. Perhaps this is a new trend for them. Here is a screenshot from the episode, which marks the return of the jackals. Since they can't really show a whole lot of biting, pretty much all of the animals fight by pouncing on top of one another and pinning them to the ground. Kind of weird, but it is what it is.
Episode is mainly about aardwolves, though only three of them speak for the most part. This girl and guy here, and another one voiced by Charlie Adler. Nice to see he's still getting work.
The female aardwolf has a very bubbly personality and a voice that matches. Kind of cute.
Just like last week, the on demand stream seems to have some compression issues or something, as usually, it's not so grainy. Or maybe it's just my shit computer doing something weird with the quality.
