How come no one buys paperbag comic book anymore?
only bc it has no value or is it bc it's too "expensive" or it's better to read the whole thing with hardcover/printed ones?

ps. I bought my Batman new 52 series in paperbags and a couple of "first" edition of Marvel comics in paper bag...
Why quotes around the word expensive? I think its a legitimate reason. You save money buying trades. For the quality of the story you get for $4, it doesn't always feel worth it.

Because it's $3 to $5 for about 10 or 20 minutes worth of content. Not to mention they don't hold up well over time, don't look good on shelves, and are a pain to store, especially in large quantities.

The difference is that in Asia, comics or cartoons etc are taken seriously as a storytelling medium, and it shows everywhere. The larger audience is ready to consume animated movies and ready to believe they can have serious storylines for adults, which creates a vast audience, which makes company execs and advertisers take comics/cartoons seriously, which brings money and respect into the field, which means that creators have the ambition and possibilities to create serious, ambitious storylines. What is that kind regards anon shit you're not writing a letter you fuck. The art is amazing and it really functions well as a world that just grows more and more elaborate while maintaining an episodic style of storytelling until bigger stuff becomes to big to be realistically handled in the background. Likeable characters, rich use of folklore, and tight storytelling those are your reasons. Go download it and think for yourself for fuck's sake.
