Come on now. The first 2 seasons (barring S2 finale) were a one trick pony and the third season was truncated. It's good no doubt, but you're overselling it.
Season 3 honestly may be the single greatest thing to ever air on Adult Swim
I love this show to death and it's sad that a lot of people don't know about it. I can see why people may not like it, though. Especially with how "meh" most of season one was.
So, The whole vibe I got from this was that Arc Reactor technology/energy is some super primitive infinity stone.

It couldn't kill Tony because Tony is a great hero and therefore his will power was stronger then an infinity stone, and his strength of heart overpowered it

If Dil came back, I dont think it would be much different. Without Dil, they'd probably fuck up Eustace by making him nice to everyone. Not Muriel levels of nice, but just enough to shit on his character. This would be because of people like Mr. Enter.
