So after taking a closer look at golden age Superman, I noticed something kind of cool. This might be a big "no shit" to some of you, but I thought it was interesting.
When Superman was new, so was the modern metropolitan lifestyle. Rural farmland still dominated the American landscape and big cities with modern technology were still the exception, not the rule. But around this time I get the sense that people were starting to feel like machines were taking over their lives, or at the very least were quickly becoming superior to them in many ways. Frank Gorshin was good, but short-lived. Gotham's Riddler is pretty good, and they're hinting at him actually getting into his Riddler persona, so there's that to look forward to.
But yeah, he's had some pretty shit luck when it comes to being included by writers. The shitty thing is that when people do use him, he's fucking great, but then they RARELY use him, so it just feels like a constant cock-tease.
Like, the Arkham Riddler is fantastic, but he's always shitty side...

So is this show any good? From what I've seen of it, it's pretty good, but not consistent. Is there a point where people realize "oh shit this is good" or is it just okay?
Like season 3 is probably where people really get that it's something special. But it was always good.

What do you guys think of Mr. Pickles?
I watched it for the first time last night and I can't remember the last time I've laughed so hard at a show.
I'm okay with it. Admittedly, while watching Mr. Pickles, I'm laughing my ass off. But its not a show that sticks with me. I don't tend to recall funny moments later on. And its certainly not a show I can binge watch.
The animation alone is so disgusting and ugly. Thats probably the thing that really gets my laughs.
