doesn't making Watchmen canon drastically alter the world.
1) decisive victory, in Vietnam. the cold war being over way before it actually ended
2) Ozzymanass having free reign to shape the world after the attack, shouldn't the DC universe have flying cars everywhere if that was the case
3) many super hero teams being out of commission for years because of the law
i am sure there are tons of other stuff.
it's canon but not the same world, likely.
DC's universe is likely the universe Dr. Manhattan decided to create after rejecting his own.
>>83239685
Oh fuck, it's the Tommy Westphall universe all over again.

Not really
>it's a J'onn tries to resolve the problem with his telepathy but it turns out to be useless for one bullshit reason or the other episode
>>83239525
>it's a
>episode
Just curious, were those parts really necessary?
Anyway, welcome to Martian ManJobber.
>>83239525
Son we call that "an episode".
>>83239525
But anon, his telAAARRRGGGGHHHH
Has there ever been a smarter comedy in animation?
>>83239388
I'd like to think so.

Does watching this show make anyone else really want to be a parent?
Also what did you guys think about the new episode?
not if I had a kid like Clarence
I literally can't watch this show, because when I do I just think "why couldn't I have acted like that as a kid? My childhood would've been awesome", and then I just get really angry at myself and pout.
This show. If at any point you see something in it and think "I remember doing something like that as a kid" Clarence will have it's claws in you and won't let go.
It's time for a /co/ oddity thread.
Give me the weirdest shit you can find.

Somehow I ended up seeing a long tape of Canadian animation. Don't ask me how.

Holy shit that ending was hauntingly beautiful
This channel is a goldmine of russian weirdness

this one in particular stands out for me

>boy builds busty sex doll out of garbage
>doll comes to life
>doll uses demon powers to turn boy's parents into babies
>Oh, Zintiel.
Damn, is Flaky Pastry still a thing? That takes me back.
>>83237849
Apparently so.
The artist can draw webcomics, but he can't write them. At this point I would rather see him draw a new story rather than these three characters that he is too fond of.
It has become boring nonsense.
>>83237882
I'm not expecting Lord of the Rings out of him. It's just a quirky comic about a sexy goblin and some other characters.
Just wish he could do more than one half-page a week. Arcs take literal years to get through.

What? Superboy Prime is shitposting on /co/ in THIS dimension.
>somewhere in another dimension, /co/ isn't a terrible board
too unrealistic?

Waifu

Jean was 20 when she became the Phoenix in Uncanny 101, so a 2 year age gap isn't that outlandish
Why is this STILL the best and most accurate live-action Batman film, 27 years later? It's just so good.
>inb4 "Joker didn't kill Bruce Wayne's parents!"
It's a pretty minor change in the grand scheme of things, and the chemical plant scene is pretty spot on.
>most accurate
>Batman kills
>Joker create Batman by killing his parents
Yeah no.
>>83237303
Nostalgia glasses burtons batman is pretty shitty
Batman the animated series is the closest you will ever get to batman in motion
>DC Rebirth #1 is the best comic I've ever read
>>83237022
Not quite that but it promises enough that it got me into a comic book store to buy it and I had stopped buying DC comics after Nu52 fucked things up.
I must be a nostalgic buyer because the other two things I purchased were "Future Quest" and "Lois & Clark".
And I'll be back for a bunch of the new Rebirth titles too. I want to try everything but three titles.
>>83237022
I fucking hate this inbred looking ass
>>83237167
future quest was surprisingly good/fun
>50 threads about marvel fucking up and their political bullshit
>Almost no one wanting to talk about Rebirth actually being good and DC possibly fixing it's fuck ups
You obviously were not here the past 3 days.
>>83236974
We had a good week of threads from the tons of pre-Rebirth spoiler leaks threads and then the actual release. It was a good time to be on /co/.
Huh, we had so much fun when spoilers leaked actually.
This was surprisingly not shit.
I'm not sure why they decided to move him out of vertigo into the new 52 when it had already been going for a few years though
>>83236900
Apparently they realized that, despite the stated reason that Vertigo was where the graphic stories go, they still had Superboy-Prime ripping off arms in the main DCU.
They had Constantine in Justice League Dark from the start, but wanted Hellblazer to reach 300 before they ended it.
>>83236998

You could've stopped JFK from getting assassinated
You could've stopped 911

Why didn't he dodge the bullet?
>>83237722
He didn't know it was coming?
>>83237754
Speedsters are supposed to think and sense faster than normal people do. You'd think he'd sense something moving behind him and realize it's a bullet.
I was a bit iffy on her after seeing trailers, but she was a highlight for me. I really liked her performance and characterization. That scene at the end where sheenters Charles' mind and then unleashes the phoenix on Apocalypsegot me hyped as fuck. Her dynamic and relationship with Charles was quite good too.
In fact I liked most of the young cast in the movie. I was never fond of Cyclops and Storm in the original trilogy but thought they were great in this movie, they felt well developed and I actually emotionally connected with them - especially Scott,...

More Jean and Jubilee mall adventues
Everytime I see her X-Men look I'm reminded of Conan O'Brien
Did she piss off the make up artist or something?
>>83236630
It's not really hard to be a 'good' Jean, since she's such a boring character. Wish they had been a bit more creative withdefeating Apocalypse instead of relying on her mary sue Pheonix Force.
Heathcliff is watching the game.
>>83236541
Wow, that comic really struck out.
