Last week saw DC Comics release their big Rebirth issue which tied the DC Comics universe directly into the Gibbons and Alan Moore's Watchmen universe.
Gibbons didn't seem too pleased by that.
"I wouldn't make the question too long. All I'm going to say is no comment," Gibbons said when Rebirth and Doctor Manhattan were brought up. "I have no comment."
Gibbons was then asked if he consulted on Rebirth or if DC bothered to drop him an e-mail.
"No, they didn't. And that's all I'm going to say," Gibbons said.
Gibbons then went on length about his thoughts on the DC film universe, Batman Vs. Superman, and the Marvel Universe (watch the full video below):

Why was Apocalypse so lame? Magneto did more than him. Magneto actually killed billions of people.
Apocalypse was like The Fallen from Bayformers 2. He's suppose to be all badass but hardly does shit and Megatron/Magneto just ends up doing 90% of the work and stealing the show.
It's especially disappointing when compared to a GOOD villain like Zemo from CA Civil War

Why was the last episode of Teen Titans centered in Beast Boy? Don't get me wrong i think Beast Boy is a pretty good character but its weird to see the last episode of a show like this to be centered in the comedy relief character instead of all the team or Robin.
each season focused on a character and the last season was beast boys. they wanted to do more, but shit happens

it was a nice ending. I felt it resolved Beast Boy's character arc pretty well. he learns that his comedy and jokes are mostly useless when his girlfriend breaks things off with him so she can selfishly indulge herself is a "normal" life among highschoolers, and never face up to the fact that she fucked a 50 year old man, nearly killed all her supposed friends, and never apologize for anything.
It's sad, but expected. His thing was about relationships and trusting others. All his relationships fail in the end, except for those with his friends. But, yeah, BB's life sucked. He compensates with comedy. It's depressing, but at least he becomes somewhat more aware of this (or at least, that's what I took away from it). He can mature and move on now.
What are you guys gonna do when is comes? Any Halloween/monster-related cartoons you gonna watch? Go to a party or something?

How is it possible for a show to be so good, and at the same time, so terrible?
I've only watched through the show once, so I'm still undecided on what my ultimate opinion is. I liked it overall, but I'm not sure if it is just a case of "neat, a fun cartoon to test my french" or if it really is that good.
